Perfect fit
Perfect fit and well made. Exactly what I needed to convert my Jeep TJ dash speakers from 4x6 to 5 1/4 speakers with no issues. Pairs well with a new set of Kickers.

Allows for larger speaker in a 2003 tj dash. Fit well.

The item does not allow for a bigger speaker to be installed. Just the same size speaker. Pointless really.

I have a 2004 Jeep Wrangler, and I bought some Kicker speakers from my local Walmart. I installed the speakers into these units, and they slipped right into the dash with no extra effort at all. So far, I am happy with my purchase, they seem to not be causing a problem, and I have bigger and better sounding speaker in my dash than the factory units which had rotted and blown to pieces.

Use thick duck tape on the backside that contacts the mounting point to avoid any rattling as well as hold the screws in place while mounting. Make sure you solder all the connections, TJ's are notorious for working loose any non soldered connections. These fit perfect lining up every single hole first try. The Kicker DSC50 (sold here on Amazon) Are a great upgrade from stock. Driver's side ground = Green passenger side is purple on a 2004 Tj Wrangler.
