Urnex Cafiza Professional Espresso Machine Cleaning Tablets, 100 Count

I use these in my Jura and they work quite well. I have been using these for over 10 years with no regrets. They are much more cost-effective than the Jura branded tablets.

My heavily stained Stainless Coffee Carafe responded well. One tablet and boiling water (Fizzes like an Alk-Seltzer) combined in the kitchen sink. It can easily bubble over! let it soak for a couple of hours. it was sparkling clean! A brief brushing and VERY thorough rinsing and it was like new. Some negative reviews changed my mind about using it to clean my Keurig brewer. Percolator or vacuum thermal bottle or water bottle should be good.

I got a Breville to fancy up my coffee routine since I can't justify spending $8 at Starbucks every day. I love my machine, and when the maintenance reminder came on, I looked into cleaning tablets. I was shocked at how expensive the branded ones are. My neighbor recommended these and said they work just as well for a fraction of the price. I’ve been using them for the past few years and they’ve worked like a charm. 5 out of 5 from me.

These are fantastic for cleaning your espresso machines! I use this on my Breville home espresso machine, but when I worked in the coffee industry, we use this on our giant machines as well! Super user-friendly and comes with a supply that will last a long time

Great value compared to manufacturers’ tablets, but has a chemical smell whereas the OEM ones have none. Still keeping these for occasional deep cleaning. Please create a new formula that doesn’t stink.

Works amazing

What can I say... it works fine in my Breville Dual Boiler. The tablets fit correctly: they're just a tiny bit taller than the Breville tablets, which I'd like to think means they have more cleaning power. In any case, they dissolved completely leaving no residue in a standard clean cycle. The E31 size (15mm diameter, 2g) was the right size for my Breville dual boiler and per tablet was a fraction of the cost of the 1.5g Breville tablets.

My 25 year old Rancilio Silvia version 1 was beginning to make sour coffee, despite its diet of distilled water. I put the recommended amount of this Cafiza in the water tank and ran the machine repeatedly until the water came out as clean as it had been going it. I also changed the brew head filter screens. The coffee it made was now better than that from my brand new Rancilio Silvia versin SIX. So, .... first of all I decided to keep the old one, and SECOND, I did the same to the new one and now they BOTH make fabulous coffee. Don't own an expresso maker without THIS stuff!
