Great replacement valve
I needed this new valve for my sprinkler system. It was super easy to replace and it easily turns on and off to make sure that no water is leaking out. It is high-quality install this piece a couple years ago and it still working fine.

fixed the problem where water sprays out the top cap. it is inherently a poorly designed valve, but i suppose replacing the components 1/year @ $5 isn't so bad. or maybe it is? idk, you be the judge. as far as the part is concerned, it stopped the spigot from spraying me every time i turn it on- so i'm happy.

Worked!
No instructions, but I was able to replace the broken part with this kit by looking online to see what went where. No more leak - if your American faucet is leaking from the top, this is the repair kit to get.

Perfect fit in my American Valve silcock
The little rubber gasket inside my valve had dry rotted and cracked. I think that was all that really needed to be replaced on my silcock. The new screw to attach the handle was too large of diameter or threaded wrong. It would not easily attach so I used the old one.

Wasn't what I wanted
I couldn't shut the faucet off, so I ordered a kit, which came with a handle and a couple of washers. I ordered a new complete faucet Which is great) for less money

I am not pleased and far from satisfied! I ordered the M72AS-HASK Sillcock Valve Repair Kit [replacement handle and vacuum breaker assembly] because I needed a vacuum breaker and couldn’t find a way to order it separately, so I bought the repair kit. What I received was a package that was previously opened and shipped with parts that were missing. The parts that were absent from the package were the Vacuum Breaker assembly (precisely the part I needed) and the valve screw! 👎
