Used this in pistachio ice cream; combined with diced nuts and a French vanilla recipe, the results are great.

This is for the pistachio. I’m grossly disappointed with this extract. It tastes horrible. Like really bad. Like stale old cardboard with a tiny hint of dusty old pistachio. And leaves a very bad chemical aftertaste that’s hard to describe. I checked the bottle to see if I got an expired one because it tasted so bad. But no, it says expires in 2027! Even the smell of it was bad . I’m so glad I tried it on something small before I ruined an entire batch of baked good. I’m really bummed. I had high hopes because of the reviews. I’ll give it another chance and update if I can find a way to make it work. But I’ll be looking for other options.

I made pistachio ice cream and used this as flavor, but thank goodness I tasted it before using, if you heat the liquid in the microwave for about 20 seconds .... this takes care of the issue and it is absolutely perfect

It’s a great product just be careful of the amount you use. To much Will ruin your dessert or an you are making. I love this item

Used this product within days of receiving it and it made the entire batch of cupcakes inedible. The smell from the container was terrible, like a fermented yeast. Smelled just like a can of beer except extra strong. I had hoped that was just the extract and it would bake into the right flavor but the cupcakes were awful. (Same recipe I've used for years, the extract being the only difference.) I loved Watkins and I am on the hunt for a replacement. This bottle is going back.

I purchased this butterscotch extract to make butterscotch mousse. I was delighted to find it as butterscotch extract is difficult to find these days. This extract smells good but the flavor is strongly overwhelmingly of alcohol. I used one scant teaspoon for a recipe that serves a total of four. It is so strong that I cannot eat it much less serve it to my guests. The finished product did smell like butterscotch but the dessert was ruined by the strong alcohol flavor. Disappointing given the price.
