4 star for the content and -1 star for the poor page quality literally didn't expect this much low quality paper anyways it's actually a good book for vocabulary it doesn't support that old learning words method it teaches meaning using ideas then some basic exercise and done now that word is inside your brain forever and then root word thing is also there overall a addictive book.

I read this book in high school in the '60's and very soon, I was impressing the teachers with a newfound vocabulary. If you need to impress someone with words they don't know get this vocabulary book and study. It's the easiest way to learn new words and be able to remember them. Also, you'll impress smarter people than you even if you're a little slow on the uptake!

I can see the virtues of this text after even a cursory examination. It was recommended to me by a family member and scholar who felt it would benefit my graduate work. I concur.
