This Velona goat milk soap base turned out very nice. One important thing to note is that it is best melted in the microwave, as stated in the directions on the box. I tried one batch in a soap melter and it disintegrated, though the final soap still came together. Using the microwave gave much better results. The soap is very smooth, and although I’m still waiting for it to fully cure, based on how it looks and feels so far, it seems like it will be very good for the skin. Overall, good quality goat milk soap base—just be sure to follow the microwave melting instructions. I would recommend this product.

I purchased 2lb blocks of both goats milk and shea butter and am very pleased with how easy it was to work with. I make Jewelweed hand soap bars and infuse it in the soap and was glad these are completely unscented, the quality and texture are both perfect and the soap hardens well, not too fast like some I have used. Definitely buying again.

The base is excellent for soap making. It melts fast and consistently. The soap is moisturizing on the skin. Took one star off because the base is expensive and it does not make many bars of soap. There are other goat milk soap base brands that cost less.

This was amazing! It works great for all the soap recipes and was very soft. As long as you use a good recipe the soap will come out perfect!!! I love this brand
