Compact, precise, excellent value
These scales are small and compact and easy to use. And to top it off, they are totally accurate. The scales come in a well protected box, great for storage, and comes with easy to follow instructions, a pair of plastic tweezers, a measuring bowl and a 50g weight for calibration. Excellent product.

Small and perfectly formed !
My wife had been struggling to measure out her laxative powders using kitchen digital scales so we searched for something more sensitive in the 'few grams' range. These 'pocket' scales have proved a godsend. A compact unit with nice chunky buttons that give a satisfying click when you press them. The readout is immediate and accurate and shown on a very clear screen. The tare function is rapid and easy to use. It does come with a tiny black plastic 'pan' but we use a measuring cup that we had from a protein shake pack (grey on the top right of the picture). A beautifully made 50g calibration weight is supplied and is a cinch to use at the set up - our scales were actually only about 0.11g 'out' on the 50g measure. After calibration we haven't seen any change / deviation after daily use for a month or so, which is brilliant. Thoroughly recommend.

Pretty accurate, good value.
I bought these scales for weighing airgun pellets, so I could group similar weights together for better accuracy and find and eliminate defective slugs. For £15 they're excellent. Occasionally they take a few seconds to settle on a reading, and judging by their ability to give a slightly different reading each time you put a pellet on the scale, I don't think they're "professional" in their level of accuracy, but for a hobbyist they're more than good enough. It is the tiniest of weights we're dealing with, it's great that something this cheap can do the job.

Surprisingly consistent measurements
I've been using these scales for a few weeks now and I'm finding them to be better than I expected considering the price. Having tested them well I have found they resolve consistently to +/- 0.002g which for the price I'd say is pretty good, they are not laboratory quality scales after all. They are straightforward to use and work well. If a margin of error of +/- 0.002g is good enough for your needs then these should be just the job. Good value.

Good enough for me - but about 0.002 out
I love the simplicity, and the fact it’s so small. My previous scale, which I had for ten years, was twice the size and had a maximum of 20g. This goes up to 50 and is tiny. Really clear LCD display unlike my previous one which had no backlight so was useless in the sunshine. My standards were low before this, let’s face it, so I am very happy with this so far, but I should add that even after immediately calibrating the scales to the included 50g weight, when I weighed it again, it would sometimes be 49.999 or 50.001 every time I picked it up. I can live with .002 discrepancy but if you are someone that wants absolute accuracy then you may need to spend a bit extra. I have only just got it so this is my initial reaction which is very positive, but if it starts malfunctioning in a few months I’ll come back to downgrade my star rating. So far, so good.

Display already cut off at the bottom after less than a month of use.
It seems to be pretty accurate but the numbers on the display are cut off at the bottom. You are still able to read it, it's just a bit annoying when I've only had it a month and have stored it away in the box carefully.

If you measure fine powders, do not use this kind of scale if you can help it.
It works fine, but this kind of scale has gaps between the buttons, and no matter how careful you are, within months some will work it's way into the chassis and stop the buttons from working. It's happened to me twice now! If you can deal with 0.01 instead of 0.001 readings, there are listings on here for those more horizontally oriented rectangular scales that will hold up better, because the buttons are sealed. I will start my hunt now for a scale with .001g accuracy and sealed buttons....

Excellent purchase
Have considered buying some pocket scales for a while and after reading reviews of various types settled on these when I needed to be able to weigh out very small amounts of medication for my pets. I can’t comment on longevity at this stage but these appear to be good quality scales, very easy to calibrate and use and ideal for the purpose I need them for. Batteries aren’t supplied.
