I don’t know how but this scanner does the job right, I think it’s UI and data it presents are very good and well thought out. Sure, the numbers are confusing but it’s just a quick google search. I think it connects well between phone and car. Pretty good and I needed it to diagnose something, did just the thing I needed it to and now it’s used to track numbers. Great for its price!

Used this on a dozen cars i checked in 12 months. Very handy, just connect it to the old port and switch ON bluetooth on the phone, open the app in the phone and see all the details. And it saves that report in your phone and you can refer that scanned vehicle health status later aswell. Some dealers asked me about this scanner as well. Buy this Bluetooth Scanner much user friendly than regular scanner.

Scanner works well, but the instructions could be clearer. Be sure you down load the on-line manual.

I try to do as much of my own vehicle maintenance as I can, and this has been an awesome help. I can see that it’s not a high priced snap on or other “premium” brand, but I don’t need it to be. It gives me the insight I need to help diagnose my vehicles and for the price, I think it’s great.

I have used this reader on a 2019 Ram gas and a 2023 Ram Cummins. Works very well on both and gives you a lot of diagnostic information. Works very well for a diy kind of guy.

Easy to use with phone interface. Small enough to take on trips with my 20 year old cars. Has saved me plenty of money by identifying the most likely issue. You still have to do the repairs yourself.

—I bought this device to help me determine if my older car would pass the smog test and to periodically test my battery. Also, the product description said that it was easy to use (basically anyone can use it)—well I must be an idiot because I can’t figure it out). —I have found that unless you are familiar with how a car engine works, this device is useless for you. —the instruction book is useless. There is very little instruction in it. —after many minutes of trying to get the device to connect to Bluetooth and diagnose my engine, I am giving up. —I contacted ANCEL customer support several days ago for help. And guess what?, they ghosted me. —I also watched several Google how to videos for this product, and they all liked it, but there was no helpful information for someone like me.

I used to have the Fixd blue tooth OBDII that was given to me as a present. It finally died on me after a few years of use (don't get one). This Ancel does all that I want it to do. It has it's own display. It is simple to use. And it turns off my engine light because I removed by EGR valve in my Mazdaspeed 3. And it does it quickly. The bluetooth is a nice-to-have, but I have not used it so far.

It’s simple but gives slots of information about the car. Only drive back the button side got broken after few uses, but still the rest works perfectly. Still I will give it 5 stars

No entiendo las reseñas positivas de este producto. Lo he probado en 3 coches diferentes, uno mío y dos de amigos, todos con problemas y testigos encendidos, y todos más recientes que 2007. En ninguno de ellos ha encontrado ningún problema, y uno de ellos tenía medio motor desmontado. El producto simplemente no funciona, te lee las revoluciones y poco más, y para eso ya tengo el cuadro. Es fácil de conectar al móvil e intuitivo, pero si no hace su función, es un pisapapeles muy caro

This arrived promptly, connected so fast and worked better than I expected. So easy to use with very clear and detailed instructions, graphics and an intuitive interface. I knew I needed this, but put off buying it for so long. I am so glad I can do what all the techies can do now.
