Essential kit
This is a great tool to have in your collection. Have used it on bicycle tyres, wheelbarrows and my car when it picked up a screw in the tyre and completely deflated. Without it I would have been stuck at home but the inflator got it back up to full pressure in just a few minutes. Usual RYOBI quality, very sturdy and reliable. Would most definitely recommend, ideal Christmas or birthday present.

Really handy and useful item
So first all I need to come clean. I really like Ryobi 1 plus products. I own probably 11 different products from hedge cutters to circular saw. My reason for liking the tools so much is down to a couple of things really. 1 price. Bosch, Mikita and Dewalt are more expensive but for marginal performance gains. 2 brand confidence. I have not had any issues with any of the tools I have as they have all worked flawlessly out of the box and some I have had for fifteen years and still going strong. Now that you understand I like the brand I have to say that the inflator is a great addition to my tool box. I have used it a couple of times, it is easy to use. 1 switch on and off. Connect the inflator to your tyre and switch it on. I use a 5 amp battery and whilst it is not the quickest inflator it will blow up an average car tyre in a couple of minutes. This way quicker and easier than a foot pump and a lot less effort. Description says grey the one I got was green.

Basic but useable inflator for cars and vans if you have Ryobi batteries
If you have Ryobi Batteries then this makes sense for value for money. It is basic in that it just has a dial gauge and no pressure preset. The scale accuracy is stated to be +- 7% but mine is good to 1-2 psi. You need a tyre pressure monitor to check it. Seems to cope with car/van pressures 30-80 psi without problems - motor never sound laboured. Not particularly fast though Feels pretty well made if not up to Makita standards and it comes with a three year warranty.

Totally pumped!
Excellent tyre pump, inflated car tyre from around 7lbs - 30lbs in approx. 2 minutes, and had plenty of battery left to check and adjust pressure of other tyres many times over. It's the fastest of this type of pump I've used and not having to plug it into the lighter socket or mains is so convenient. Could probably benefit from a trigger lock so you don't have to keep the trigger pressed manually, although it's a light trigger and doesn't take much effort. Dial is easy to read and needle doesn't flap around like on some pumps. I haven't checked the accuracy of the gauge as it's close enough for my purposes. It includes an adapter for those skinny bicycle valves, a football pump type adapter and one for inflatables which all work well. I own several Ryobi garden tools which all use the same batteries, so it made sense for me to get this pump, however I would recommend it as a stand alone unit.

Great for existing Ryobi users......
Simple and quick to use. Although dial on device is small, it's clear and still easy to read. Only makes sense to buy this if you're an existing Ryobi user and have batteries already. Took a front car tyre from 15psi to 30psi in just under a minute. Surprisingly quiet compared to other tyres compressors I've used. Build quality consistent with other Ryobi gear we own.

Very pleased with this High Pressure Inflator
All of my cordless tools are Ryobi one+ as I find them consistently good quality. I have used them since they 1st came to UK so I have an advantage in having many batteries and chargers. I bought this Ryobi R18PI-0 18V ONE+ as I needed an airline for my air ride suspension on my 35yr camper. I did use a 12v one that ran off the vehicle battery which was very slow & the leads didn't reach easily. This inflator is brilliant it had the suspension up to pressure in minutes compared to the previous 1 taking 30 min. It takes up less space than the other one (not including charger) & is overall an excellent purchase. I recommend buying 1 & the Ryobi One+ tools.
