Update: the case is still in great condition, since its purchase, I have dropped my phone a few times, including out of an upstairs window onto a hard driveway. The phone is still in perfect condition.Was pretty unsure which case to buy for my Mate 20 Pro. I decided in the end to go with Spigen as that's what I've had on my Nexus 6 and those cases were pretty good.The case itself feels very robust. It's not floppy and fits snugly around the phone. It doesn't encroach on the screen which was one of my main criteria.The texture of the back is the perfect balance of roughness for grip and smoothness for comfort. It has different areas of grippiness, around the camera its got a ridged texture, similar to a vinyl record. At the bottom it's got a strip of carbon fibre effect stuff, which looks pretty convincing, and it sets off the case nicely (it's all one piece, it's not an insert that's been glued in).There isn't much more to say really, but all in all I'm glad I went with this case, as I know Spigen cases are always high quality.

I purchased a couple of different cases for my Huawei Mate 20 Pro before opting for the Spigen Rugged Armour. I should have bought this one first as the others had issues like, too bulky, or too slippery or scratched too easily and so on. This case has protected my phone during a two week trip to the Caribbean where it has been by my side permanently. As I use my phone as my main camera it has been too the beach and various other outings and has protected my phone from minor bangs and drops so far. Also, it hasn't picked up any scratches or marks and looks like new! I know it is a case but a scruffy case on a phone looks... well, scruffy even if it is protecting the phone! I think the durability is helped by a slightly matt and grippy material that also means you don't drop the phone as much. Win win! I couldn't recommend more.

Appearance, texture and finish. I'm a really big fan of the Spigen case range, I currently have a slim armour on my p20 Pro and now this Rugged armour on my mate 20 pro. I've bought the same model for families one plus phones and all look and feel great. The slim armour protected the p20 Pro from a few falls and phone remains unmarked. This case probably will not provide quite the same level of front protection due mostly to the curved edges of this handset. Rear, end, corner and side protection is good, front protection at the bottom and top is good, just the front side edges have limitations. On this handset the keyboard extends right to the curved edge, so I guess extra care and handset insurance is needed to backup the case.

Top notch Spigen case for the Huawei Mate 20 Pro! I read tonnes of reviews for different cases as have the twilight version and would have preferred a clear case, but couldn't find a decent one that wouldn't compromise the phone if dropped. Not worth it with the cost of handsets these days. Not only does this look and feel premium compared to most, but it's a perfect tight fit. The only criticism is the back of the case is very smooth, but it's not enough to put me off given everything else it has going for it. The edges around the camera are great, doesn't interfere with any pics or videos, and the sides do not interfere with the curved screen which is outstanding. All in all an awesome product and reasonably priced. This will be my first of many Spigen cases........Quality.

This is my 4th spigen rugged armor case (4 different handsets) they are by far the best case you can buy for your phone FACT! and the second you hold it in your hand you will absolutely know this.Now, with all that said I'm afraid it loses one star as the very limited colour options make it hard for somebody (my wife for example) to buy one as black isn't for everybody's taste, also since this is my 4th case of this kind, once I fit it on my phone it didn't look or feel like a shiny new phone but just the same as the 3 phones before it.Don't let this little detail stop you tho, this is still the best protection you will find for your handset.

I have owned this phone case for 6 years and it has only just started to show signs of wear and tear from constant daily use, I must have dropped it over 100 times since 2019 and my phone is still undamaged, and for that Spigen I salute you

Couldn't have asked for a better case, it's an awesome fit for my huawei p20 mate pro, the colour is strong and hasn't faded and the carbon fibre pattern adds a quality touch.I have had this case probably the best part of 6 months and its faultless, I have dropped my phone at least 20 times and it's bounces here there and everywhere the case has taken its toll a little bit but that's my fault for having butterfingers. Great product couldn't be happier and if I do manage to break it in the near future I will replace with another one exactly the same no doubt.Great product by spigen 100% recommend.**Please note pictures taken 6 months after purchase**

The case is slim and does not feel too intrusive, the material used on the case can feel a little slippy/slick but it's not much of an issue for me.As far as protection goes I think it will survive a corner drop. A drop directly flat on on the floor may not see the screen survive but used in conjunction with a good quality screen protector should help with that problem.You must ensure that your screen protector is aligned 100% correctly, the TPU screen protector I have on is ever slightly misaligned and it is pushing up along the top, a quick push back down sorts this but it is worth being aware of.
