Great bars for the price.
I don't see how you could beat Dunlop bars for the money. There are probably better bars out there, but at a lot more cost. The small bar (4.5 ounces) is good for six string lap steel, but would not be quite big enough for 8 string unless you have unusually close string spacing. The small size of the bar takes a bit of getting used to but once you do, it is very agile and light so fast moves and slants are easier in my opinion. This is the size bar that Jerry Byrd recommended so that says something for it.

Just what I needed.........
I've been using a 6.5 oz bullet for the last year and decided to switch to something lighter. What a difference. It did not take much time to get used to the 919, with it's smaller size and weight. Muting is much easier and moving around the neck is faster and cleaner. Much better control than my older bullet for sure. I will be ordering another for back up.

This is the best one
This tone bar will give you a bolder slide sound, overall. The weight of it feels just right. I have 6 different kind of guitar slides here, and this is my favorite.

Not the size stated. It said that the product is 3.5 inches long. It is less than 3 inches long. Useless for a 10 string steel guitar

A Top Quality Product!
I'm still getting used to it in terms of hanging on to it properly for control. The weight of it produces really great tone. Probably the best tone I've gotten from my lap steel guitar so I'm not giving up on it. I think if my steel guitar was on legs and not across my lap it would be easier to control the bar.

Great bar.It has a good weight to it yet is very maneuverable on my lap steel. I had a little bit bigger of a bar before but I like this one better.

Like these better than the traditional Dobro bar. Rounded edge allows for more precision.

The sheer weight of this is impressive for the size and the tone is excellent. It’s also perfectly smooth and is staying that way after some use, unlike some of the cheaper ones I’ve tried.
