First electric guitar
My first guitar! Looked at lots of reviews, product specs, etc. Decided on this bundle. Very pleased. I am totally new to this, retired, decided to finally try. So I know nothing (except what music I like). Items arrived promptly, all intact. Note reviews discussing plastic film. It does peel off and the guitar isn’t scratched anywhere. So far, it has been easy to tune and I have learned 2 chords. Not using tremolo, although I played around with it some. Included amp is more than sufficient for home use. Plenty loud enough to annoy my wife 😉! I have found that one end of the amp cord is loose inside. I will try to fix that, worst case, buy a new one.Overall, I think this is a great option for beginners and truly does come with everything you need, except a teacher…

Excellent Beginner Package
First off, I would like to commend Fender for this amp. I cannot believe the sound that comes out of this little 10 watt monster. It only has overdrive with no modelling, but it sounds great!I purchased this guitar for my 6 and 8 year old boys to play instead of my more expensive guitars. For their size, the thickness and fret spacing is perfect. It came out of the box pretty much ready to play (after I tuned it) and they love it.The small amp size makes it easy for them to haul around out of the music room if they want to put on a show in the living room.We also use the guitar a lot with Rocksmith and it works perfectly (If you are unfamiliar with Rocksmith, I highly suggest you look it up!). It holds tuning well and sounds good in drop-D and E-flat standard without much fiddling. This guitar should last any beginner a long way into their playing career. The next step from here would be a larger modelling amp rather than a new, higher-end guitar (keeping in mind, though, ours is the short-scale).

Great for as a starter guitar!
I’ve played the drums for many years and thought I'd take a shot a teaching myself to play guitar. It’s even more difficult than I thought it would be! That said, I love this guitar and amp combo. It’s a Fender so you know you have a great brand, but it didn’t break the bank. I’m having a blast with my Squire!

It was missing a few parts
I got everything except for the amp cord, strap and the 3 picks but otherwise then that everything came perfectly clean and undamaged

For price can't beat it
Purchased this kit on July 2021, read reviews before purchase. Was concerned about not staying in tune. Discovered that the living nuts for string adjustment were loose, one about to fall off without string holding it on. Tighten and checked all over for loose hardware. I'm a beginer guitar is smooth, not a real fender of course but for price I paid for set it'll do the trick!! Got open box sale price $108 for the kit!!! Well worth $100 any day

Very happy with my purchase
I’m a novice. The quality of the guitar was better then I could have expected. The amp is ideal for my level. The lessons are perfect for a beginner. I can see me using this guitar for years to come.

Beginner guitar for sure!
Wanted to get into electric guitar playing. I have had acoustic guitars in the past and never had a problem with the thickness. This electric guitar is definitely a bit skinnier and flimisier feeling compared to my other guitars.Recommend for a beginners first guitar!
