Türkiye (Turkey) Map (National Geographic Adventure Map, 3018)

I needed a map of Turkey for a project I’m working on that marked archaeological sites, location of rivers, mountains, etc. This map gave me more information than that; caves, castles, castle ruins, monuments, churches, churches in ruins, monasteries, monasteries in ruins, mosques, mines, UNESCO World Heritage sites and natural points of interests. 1 inch equals 19 miles. The map is front and back and very durable.

These NatGeo maps are awesome! We bought ones for Türkiye, Greece, and Cyprus and loved using them all on a recent trip. Highly recommended!

The map is well made and very detailed. I thought it's a bit big and it's a little annoying that they put half of the country in one side and the other half in the other side (which makes looking at it a little overwhelming), but other than that it's a fantastic map. High quality paper that seems like it's not gonna rip easily. I'm satisfied!

At this stage we are planning the trip, so haven't taken it for a real test. I find most of the National Geographic Adventure Maps to be helpful for understanding the gegraphy, topography and location of key points of interest. I also like the weather-sturdy material that they are made of. This map has served well for planning so far.

Sturdy paper and waterproof! Am currently using this map to locate trip itinerary destinations.

the legends were printed on durable paper. Colors and contrast made roads and cities easyily readible.

Pretty awesome map! Very detailed! I expected the entire thing to be on one side though, not half on the front and half on the back.

The map covers the whole of Turkey at a good level of detail. The particular version I was sold is a bit out of date, as Turkey has built a load of new roads in the past few years. The map does have the advantage of being damp proof and not easily torn.

My fault. I didn't realise it would be on two sides so I'd have to turn it over! It's very detailed but I wanted all of Turkey on one side...its not! Just frustrating. But it's incredibly detailed for anyone using it in the country.
