Where has this been all my life?!
This cart is easily one of the best purchases I have EVER made!! We live in an apartment and the hassle of making multiple trips up and down the elevator to get groceries upstairs is just not funny or fun. Bags ripping, my back breaking ... a sorry deal all around! Previously we had those wire mesh carts which got the job done but they were difficult to handle (not the best wheels rolling there) and the solid shape made it more difficult to fit certain items, plus they did not support much weight either so while helpful, definitely not ideal. When I got tired of exhausting myself with grocery transportation (where are your kids/ husband when you need them?!), I set out to find the very best possible cart on the market so of course I headed to Amazon :)). After falling into a semi-trance looking at page after page of the usual suspects, the Versacart caught my eye and I was instantly alert. My heart skipped a few beats and I forgot to breathe as I read the description, thinking "can this really be The One?!". It was just too good to pass up and while a bit pricey, I decided to order it and see. When my cart arrived I immediately unpacked it (so easy!) and surveyed it. Great material (so thick!), excellent maneuverability (wheels glide so smoothly!), and sooooo light (yet incredibly sturdy!)! I was definitely getting excited by then ;)). That evening I set out to get the motherload of groceries as I couldn't wait to put it to the final test. Jumped out of the car once in the garage and set out to transport my groceries upstairs. Thrilled with how easily the cart unfolds and how much stuff I could fit in it! 120 lbs is definitely doable. I loaded the cart to the very top, hung additional bags over the handles and voila -- what would have taken me 3 or 4 trips and much effort to get upstairs would get done in one pass. I started pushing the cart half expecting it to groan but no, a bit of a push and we were on our way. No awkward walking angles as the wheels roll 360 degrees and not a sense that my cart would fall apart. I made it upstairs effortlessly and not exhausted for once; I was thrilled! This was definitely THE BEST. I bought one for my mom too amidst much protest from her but now that she has it, we still laugh on the phone sharing stories about how much we love this cart and how we find ourselves cracking up alone or smiling like fools when we use it, walking around like models on a runway and hoping someone sees us and asks about the carts so we can gloat about them, lol. This item has seriously increased our quality of life significantly and we believe everyone in the world should have one. Yes, EVERYONE. I dreaded grocery shopping days before Versacart but now it's a breeze. I just cannot believe I didn't find this item before -- would've saved us soooooo much trouble, energy, exasperation, backaches, etc.! The only CON I can think of, if anything, is that when the cart is heavily loaded the handles feel a bit wobbly, but even then it performs perfectly and nothing has broken off or fallen apart even after the rigorous use I've put it through so just keep it in mind when you buy this product. The handles are sturdy and will not come off or break when heavily loaded even if it feels like they might to you. I've put this cart to heavy use over the past 3 months and it still works perfectly and looks brand new. I don't think I'll ever be without one of these, fantastic investment!

Great cart
I’ve had this sturdy cart for around 10 years and there’s no signs of the cart breaking down. Unfortunately, my daughter used it for her recent move to an apartment and there’s no chance I’m getting it back. I just bought my second VersaCart. This cart is perfect for condo and apartment use. I’ve loaded this thing up with huge packages—it’s a real workhorse. The fact that it folds like an umbrella stroller is what sets this cart apart from other carts. It needs a lot less room in the trunk of the car.

Very good quality and good size!
I was looking to buy a quality stroller, not a cheap one! this stroller is strong, great size! in them you can put 5 full bags from the store, a pack of water... plenty of it! when you fold them up, they fit into a smaller trunk without a problem!

Terrific Cart: light weight and easy to fold
Updated review: I purchased this cart last year for a relative, and just purchased a 2nd for another relative. Both live in senior apartment buildings, and need something to get their shopping purchases from the parking lot all the way up to their apartments. It does the job perfectly. We love how lightweight and easy to fold it is. When it's folded, it's like an umbrella stroller and easy to carry. It's very lightweight, and there's a strap with a snap to keep it folded close - both features that make it easy to get in and out of car trunk. With a comfortable handle height and front wheels that swivel, the cart is very easy to maneuver. The fabric is a very sturdy canvas. While the bag part of the cart can be removed from the frame, we never need to do that. There is an attached lid/top that can be flipped over to keep the cart bag totally covered if needed. One of these is brand new and the other is a year old and so far has held up very well.

VERY handy!
Purchased 2 of these, one for us, and one for our daughter who is away at college. There is minimal assembly required - push on the two sets of front casters, and you are ready to use the cart. There is a noticeable odor when you are standing next to it, from the Scotch-Guard/water repellent treatment on the fabric, but we found that by leaving it sit open for a few days, it has dissipated in about a week. It was not so overwhelming that we couldn't have it sitting out in the house. Things I love about this cart: First of all, the ease of use. Anyone who has ever used an umbrella stroller can use this cart. I also love that it will stand up on it's own if you position the wheels all facing in the same direction! You can also hang in on the closet rod from the handles, and while it is bulkier than an umbrella stroller, when standing the "footprint" is only about 8 inches by 8 inches. It is lightweight but not flimsy, and opens and closes easily. The fabric is very sturdy, and I can see it lasting for a nice, long time! We keep ours in our garage, so that when I get home from shopping, I can pop everything in the cart, and wheel it to the house (our garage is detached). Our daughter keeps hers in her dorm room; she uses it for move-in/move-out days (and everyone wants to borrow it! LOL), for taking laundry to the laundry room, bringing in groceries from the parking lot, etc. At first, she was reluctant to take it to school, but she's glad she has it now! Probably the one feature I haven't used at all is the fabric top. It attaches fully along the side between the handles, and has three pieces of Velcro (one on each side) to help secure it. When you store the cart, you can just fold it down inside (as it came when shipped) and it seems to add very little bulk when folded. I can see that it would be great to help keep rain/snow off of things inside the cart; I just haven't needed it yet! We also have a folding wire shopping cart, but I find myself using this cart much more frequently now. I *definitely* recommend this cart - I am so happy with it that we are going to buy two more to give as gifts!

Es muy práctico y es mucho más fácil de mover que los carritos que se jalan.

Love this cart! So handy since it folds down. Lightweight but very sturdy and has a great capacity. Have used it to cart laundry to the laundromat, groceries and to retrieve and deliver parcels to the post office.

The best cart ever

I go for walks to the grocery store every week and I pack a lot into this cart. The cover is amazing as it protects the groceries from rain, dust and leaves etc. I prefer being able to push the cart like a stroller, rather than have to pull which hurts my arm and shoulder. I often put a piece of cardboard in the bottom to help support the frame. Not necessary but I find it helps. My only con is that the handles are not adjustable. We are fairly tall and, like all umbrella strollers, they are not built for tall people. If they could somehow create adjustable handles or make extensions that you can purchase it would be a 10/10 for me. I would strongly recommend this cart.

I just bought one for my parents. I've had one for at least 8 years (still in great shape except for normal wear and tear). It has been so handy. It's light and foldable and can hold several bags of groceries and easy to use. It fits into any standard trunk. It's been great during the pandemic when most of our purchases were delivered to our condo. This is a must have for any household.
