Klipsch RP-404C Center Channel Speaker (Ebony)

One word Amazing. This center channel is by far the best sounding center i have ever used. I can hear sounds i have not ben able to hear in movies with my Polk audio center and anything like gun shots or loud booms are crisp and you will jump out of your seat. It goes so well with my Klipsch tower speakers and rear and my overhead speakers all Klipsch for a amazing surround sound setup to die for. I love watching movies that make use of Dolby Atmos it sounds crazy good. If your looking for a amazing center channel speaker at a great price this is so worth it.

I chose this speaker because 1) cosmetically it looked like my other speakers, 2) the sensitivity was close to my existing speakers, and 3) it was large enough in width and depth to support the TV stand, allowing me to place it directly below the TV. Sounds great, blends in with other equipment.

I have 2 Klipsch 800F floor speakers which are so awesome, that I can hardly tell this center channel is on when playing music; however, it is most effective projecting crystal clear dialog. Overall, mixes great (tone quality) with the floor speakers.

Only been a couple days but I upgraded from a R-52C and WOW just WOW!!! Vocals are loud and clear and gunshot are like holy crap real sounding lol…. I love this thing I moved the 52C to the bedroom but honeslty.. I’m about to order the RP 450c for the living room since it has the bigger sized woofers and everything and put this in the bedroom I like to sit in bed and watch movies on the weekends and just put the R-52C in the closet for a back up cause now that I’ve heard this big guy it’s hard to even listen to that one anymore lol

I purchased this product knowing that it was deeper than the newer upgraded models. I wanted a deeper center channel to place my tv on top of it. The Klipsch RP-404C Center Channel Speaker did not dissapoint. Paired with the Denon AVR 2800, Klipsch 600II, 10" Klipsch subwoofer, and Polk rears, the center channel blended well will all creating a very smooth balance. Also using all the speakers for music with all-channels the center channel had enough range to blend well with all kinds of music. If you come across this center channel I would suggest considering this for a well balanced AVR using it for both movies and music.

Compared against the Klipsch R52c my first impression is that the RP-404c ($299) has slightly better dialogue clarity. Also it has a deeper more resonate sound - and I don't mean heavily leaning on bass, but rather a richer sound that 'carries'. The R52C ($149) is a nice center speaker, just not as robust as the 404. Both are great, the RP404C just a bit 'meatier' - Also LARGER at 26" wide almost 13" deep. The R52C is 18" wide by 7" deep.

An awesome sounding centre speaker. I use mine along with L and R Klipsch R-620 floor standing speakers. These things can get loud (depending on the amp or avr you're using them with. I use a denon x4700h.

The item took a while to be dispatched during Black Friday sale, but once it was the delivery was very quick. Fantastic product.

Replaced my old center channel with this and I am really enjoying it. I am not an audiophile but I like what I am hearing. Dialogues are clear when watching movies and also sound great when I watch concerts.
