Fantastic Pan
This is now my go to pan! Love the way it heats up and holds heat. Perfect for making pancakes or making sauces.

Awesome
Love this pan. Opted for this in place of my large nonstick skillet. It’s heavy! But it cooks beautifully and quickly. Easy to clean. Very happy with this purchase.

So far so good
This pan arrived in an outer box that had been smashed and retaped, but the inner box was undamaged and the pan and lid had no chips. It's a nice light cream or off-white color inside and out, with what appear to be bare dark cast iron rims, which is probably good because the rims might be the areas most prone to chipping. I would have preferred the gradient blue color but only solid white was available when I ordered. The dimensions are given and I have other cast iron cookware, but this 3.3 quart casserole/braiser pan is larger and heavier than I expected. It's a wide, heavy pan and the handles are large enough to grasp easily with potholders. This is my first enameled cast iron and I like it so far. The flat bottom fits my largest cooktop eyes well. I hand washed it, warmed it in a 170-degree oven, and wiped the rims with some canola oil. I've cooked a meatless chili recipe in it which turned out well without sticking, mostly cooked on low. (I cook regular chili in a larger pot.) Hand washing easily cleaned it up like new; no discoloration so far. i'll wipe the rims with a tiny bit of oil again so they won't rust. I'll try to update my review if there is any chipping or other problem after I've cooked with it more. I intended to let it stay on top of my 30" range, but it takes up a lot of the space so I'm undecided on that. The photos show it (on a silicone hotpad to avoid scratches) on my cooktop. As with my other cast iron cookware, I'll have to be careful to set it down very gently and not slide it on my glass cooktop. The directions say to hand wash it, do not use metal utensils (i'm using Vovoly silicone ones), and use only low to medium heat when using on a cooktop, heating it gradually and avoid sudden temperature changes. It is safe in the oven up to high temps. Any stains should be cleaned with baking soda and water, but I've had none so far. It's a pretty pan when new. I hope it doesn't chip in use as some reviews have stated. Edit to update: Still so far so good, but I'm saving the box in case it chips in normal use before the return window ends. I've now cooked a mini pot roast with vegetables, searing the beef in a bit of oil on medium and then cooking on low. Turned out great and was a breeze to hand wash with Dawn dish detergent. Still looks new. However, I'm now wondering if the size and weight will be problematic for me. This is a very heavy pan even for cast iron. I later ordered a 2.25-qt similar pan in another brand and it's much easier to handle and store, but it doesn't hold enough for some one-dish meal recipes. Holds plenty for a large side, though.

Very beautiful and construction is flawless
It cooks very well but oh is it heavy! I need assistance getting it from our low cupboards but I still use it a lot. It is elegant to serve a stew in at the center of the table.

Attractive and versatile piece
Just the right size for a nice roast chicken, casserole, and even dessert. The cast iron is perfect for a slow cooked meal and clean up is easy.

FYI: NOT non-stick and wasn't meant to be non-stick
I've seen several reviews complaining that everything cooked sticks to this pot. That's because enabled cast iron is NOT NON-STICK. Just like when you cook in stainless steel cookware, you must add either liquid or oil when using enameled cast iron. So why use enameled cast iron? You use it for it's superior and even heat conduction as well as the easy cleanup caused by the enamel. But be careful not to chip the enamel because uncoated cast iron easily rusts and just like non-enamled cast iron, will need to be seasoned on the exposed iron to keep rust at bay. I clean mine with dish soap and water. Once I remove the food from the pot, I immediately pour in some boiling water and a few drops of dish soap while the pot is still hot. After I eat, the pot is cooled down so I wash it by hand with dish soap and warm water. Please avoid washing a hot enameled pot because the cooler dish water will cause the enamel to "craze" (develop fine lines and cracks). With proper care, this pot will last and look brand new forever...

Great quality
Great quality. It looks and feels like the French brand that is four times the price. Lid seals great. Heavy solid cast iron with a pretty enamel finish.

This is a great buy. Does what it’s meant to do without costing a week’s rent!! It’s sturdy and weighty, distributes heat evenly and cleans so well. Amazon you did well!

Have been pondering getting a Creuset. However I'm not willing to re mortgage the house to get it. So, I've been doing research, reading comments, checking different products and suppliers. Decided that for 30 odd pounds it was worth give it a try, even when there's like half a dozen of bad reviews amongst thousands of good ones. And so far Amazon always sorted me out when things went sideways, so I thought, what the heck let's do it I'm happy I did. It looks so good, heavy like the ones my grandma used to have, no chips no nothing, perfect condition, well packaged, lid packaged well and secured with little grips to avoid breakages in transit. Now, this isn't a toy, and even thought you're not paying Creuset money doesn't mean you can toss it around the kitchen like an old wooden spoon. It's cast iron and it's enamelled. It's heavy and so a little bang can chip it just like the expensive ones, difference is you wouldn't mistreat those because it's been expensive would you? Well, it's the same thing. The expensive one will still break if you don't treat it well so be careful. Also, like all other enamel, don't cook it without liquid. Pro tip, if you did, and you burned something (these coock a lot quicker cause they get hotter) my mom uses bleach on hers and it removes those stains: she has repeated to me many hundred times, so I guess it's true. I quite. Like the design as well. It turns away from the attempt to be that big brand which I like. Cast iron pans have been around since forever, it's not that deep. Is just cast iron and enamel, get over it. I will still need to test the durability over time, but honestly is looking good. Good finish, does what it says on the tin. I'm so glad because I actually got 3 of these in different liters and colors. I definitely reccomend giving it a go.
