Favorite Little Golden Books for Christmas 5-Book Boxed Set: The Animals' Christmas Eve; The Christmas Story; The Little Christmas Elf; The Night ... The Poky Little Puppy's First Christmas

Love the storage box and the festive spines on these Christmas books. I plan to make happy Christmas memories, reading these books to my grands.

Got two of these for gifts and would get them again. Such a great gift.

These classic books are such a fun way to introduce Christmas and the story of Jesus' birth to little ones! The entire set is fantastic! We enjoy reading one each night at bedtime. This is a perfect gift. I love the little box that holds the set too.

I love it! It can be wrapped in an original wrapper—a great addition to our family's tradition of each adding a Christmas book to the family collection. Now, in its 3rd generation, a whole section of shelves in the library is cleared out on Nov.1st to stock the Christmas Collection. It's followed by Thanksgiving dinner dessert listening to who had read which book and what they thought; this includes adults, too.

This is the best collection for my child who is five. He is fascinated by the Nativity Story as well as the Elf story. The baby book is too young but he likes the counting Animal nativity book.

This is a nice collection of Golden Books for a child's Christmas. It includes the classic 'The Christmas Story,' which tells the Nativity story with beautiful, rich illustrations by the illustrator of 'Baby Dear' and 'Baby's Christmas'; 'The Animals' Christmas Eve,' which has a nice rhyme about the animals at the first Christmas, counting up from one to twelve; 'The Little Christmas Elf,' about a small elf who works in Santa's workshop and who learns about not giving up on a task; the classic 'The Night Before Christmas' with Clement Moore's poem and nice illustrations; and 'The Poky Little Puppy's First Christmas,' which is nice for fans of the Poky Little Puppy. I am glad that I got this for my daughter, and am sure that we will enjoy these books for years to come. There's a reason Golden Books are classic! :)

These were a perfect addition to our Christmas Eve gifts! Such cute classics.

Sehr schöne Bücher mit sehr schönen Bildern und süßen Geschichten welche in den USA einen hohen Bekanntheitsgrad genießen und viele Generationen schon ihre Freude dran hatten. Die Geschichten sind leicht verständlich und von der Länge her perfekt als Vorlesbuch vor dem Schlafengehen geeignet. Keines der Bücher kostet mehr als drei Euro. Habe sie sonst in Deutschland noch nirgends gesehen. Sprache - Englisch.

We read these books to our children when they were small, and were excited to buy the set for our niece to read to her daughter now.
