Perfect little grill!
Can’t say enough great things about this grill. It fits perfectly on our tiny deck and cooks exceptionally well! I’m liking this even better than our larger grill downstairs. I’ve cooked chicken wings, fish and vegetables to perfection. We always use a black grill mat or copper mat and it works nicely with this grill. The drip pan is small, so barely had any grease collecting with this method. The inside of grill in nonstick and wipes clean with ease. Assembly took 10 minutes. Still practicing the folding legs as it is a little tricky, but well worth it. Lights on first press. Very light. Great quality and looks great! Highly recommend.

Great little grill!
I have never purchased a “used” item from Amazon but did so with this grill based on another review. It presented as brand new - I don’t think the box had even been opened! This is a great little grill! I did watch a video on how to set up and fold down the legs, but the explanation is spot on in the printed directions. I set it up, added a small propane bottle and used it immediately. The cook surface is small compared to a regular grill, but perfect for me alone. My food was great and the clean up was a breeze! I washed the grate in my sink and wiped out the inside of the grill with a dishcloth. This grill is perfect for an apartment deck and folds down easily for storage. I am happy with this purchase and definitely recommend this grill for anyone with limited space.

Good as a portable grill, not an at home replacement
So I have used this twice with mixed results. The first was for a birthday in the park, cooked about 50 hamburgers and 50 hotdogs nonstop over about 2 hours. For that time it worked amazing, had it on high the whole time and never stopped cooking. I used about a half of a 1 lb propane tank. The second time was at home and I just wanted to heat it up to clean it up from the day before. This time the temp control was out of control, left it on high for about 5 minutes and it melted the plastic lock off and most of the paint off the outside of the lid. The only difference was the grill was fighting a breeze at the park and at home it was sheltered from the wind. Also in the 5 mins it used a 1/4 of a tank vs the 1/2 tank over 2 hours. This will be great as a campsite grill but I would avoid using it as an apartment or single person's home grill. I really like it's size and portability but it could be heavy to lug very far, about 17lbs. The grill top can fit 6-8 frozen hamburger patties at a time or probably about 24-30 hotdogs. Come to think about it the overheating the second time was probably because it was left empty on high vs full of food. So all in all it works pretty good I was able to feed a small army off of it and fairly efficiently. Just wouldn't be my choice for a primary at home grill.

Great little grill
After reading the conflicting reviews on this grill I decided to give it a try. I buy numerous items on Amazon and usually dont take the time to review them because I haven't had any problems and dont take the time for positive reviews. However after reading about the supposed fake reviews on this grill I am taking the time to review it. I was looking for a small, inexpensive portable grill to use on the sandbar with my wife and 3 kids when we take the boat out. This grill looked ideal as the legs can be extended to set it up in shallow water or shore without hauling an additional table. The grill arrived and the legs went on in under 5 minutes. I threw on a 2 year old propane bottle that was maybe 1/4 full. I burned off the new crud for 5 minutes and threw on several burgers and hot dogs to give it a try. The burgers were completely frozen. I left the grill on medium high and did the burgers 6 minutes a side. They were very well done and probably on the grill for too long. This is a small grill and 5 hamburgers and a couple hot dogs fill it up. the grill got very hot very quick and I had zero problems lighting it. Time will tell how it stands up to shore use but for a cheap very portable grill to throw some burgers, brats etc I believe its an excellent buy. As the one reviewer said its no 3 burner Weber but I think it will work great for the occassional use of camping, tailgating etc. UPDATE!! After using this grill on the sandbar all summer I still give it 5 stars. The grill lit easily every time, the legs dropped down and worked great in the shallow water without any issues. The grill will flare up if your cooking some really greasy burgers but with abundant water nearby I simply used the kids squirt gun to douse the flame. Grill cleaned up easily at the end of the season and I look forward to using it again next year. Having hot food after a day on the boat made our outings that much better.

Light weight not rugged poor customer service.
I was really excited to have a new grill for camping. I even purchased a carrying case for it. It is Light weight which is good for transporting but it is also not rugged. After only two uses the plastic latch melted and the control knob malfunctioned. Terrible customer service. I sent an email according to their protocol and did receive one voice mail directing me to call a number. But I have tried 5 or 6 times and I am just put on a recorded message where I leave my info. 2 weeks have passed with no returned call or resolution. I am very disappointed in Cuisinart, I especially chose this grill because of the company name thinking it would be rugged and dependable and that the company would stand by their product.

Amazing little grill!
This little grill is absolutely phenomenal. I love using it. I have a little back patio with not a lot of room so it is absolutely perfect for the small space. When I'm done using it I can either leave it set up or collapse the entire grill and store it until next use. It's also fairly light. It probably weighs about 20 pounds or so and I'm a small woman and it's easy for me to transport. I have taken it to the beach and friends' houses without any transportation issues (I have a four door car). Also, the clean up is pretty easy. It's a little difficult to clean around the heating element but that's really the only hinderance. I use the pre-moistened kitchen wipes that are dual sided (smooth side and scrub side) and they work like a charm for the inside. The grate comes out easily too. You can just scrub anything that's really stuck off easily and then just put it in the dishwasher. It comes out perfectly clean. I really love the fact that you don't have to use a big gas cylinder. You can use the little green Coleman gas canisters which makes it even easier to transport. They last quite a while too. The cooking surface is not tiny either. There is plenty of room to grill a meal for 4 at one time. Loved it so much I ordered a second one for my boyfriend. :)

Works well, but it's a pain to use. Tall folks need some knee pads.
I bought this to take along in our RV for grilling while we're out camping. Our camper has a LP port with an outdoor kitchen area, so I just hook this little thing up and away we go. So far, cooking has been nice with good temperature control. It fits pretty nicely in our RV storage compartment. The grill is short. I'm an average-sized guy and it comes up to about my waist. If you're a tall person I would say you might want to get some blocks or a knee pad unless you like bending over. My biggest complaint is just the clunkiness. It's designed to be portable... but it's not designed that way very well. You can tell the engineers put some thought into it but it's almost like they never bothered to actually take it out and use it anywhere. The legs fold up and slide into the underside of the grill, and they're offset so they slide next to each other to make it compact. That's great, except they won't friggin stay put. They keep sliding out like wings sticking out the sides as I'm trying to carry it around. Carrying it is a chore because of this, and because it's not balanced very well it's like trying to lug a toddler around. There's also a drip tray that slides in underneath, but there's no retention of any kind, so it also falls out regularly. It's like driving an old car with parts falling off as it's going down the road. The setup is a bit clunky as well since there's really no way to hold the grill with one hand while you're trying to slide the legs out with the other. The legs just don't... stay... where you want them. Ever. If you want them in, they want to come out. If you want them out, they want to go in. Getting them in the right spot and then trying to lock them in place is a struggle. Once they're locked open and down on the ground they're pretty sturdy for the type of grill it is though. At this price point and in this size... this is really the best option. It does work, and if you're willing to deal with just a little frustration during setup and teardown it should serve you well. We're still using it on every outing we have, so it's worth it to me.
