Prestige Medical 79-ROY Standard Aneroid Sphygmomanometer

Gets the job done but can be a little frustrating to use, I ended up getting a new one

im about to start learning the basics in my nursing classes. this was really easy to work with and learn how to take a manual bp.

Worked good, but the cover tore where guage attached very soon after purchase. I am not hard on my tools and have had other cuffs last for many years. This one lasted a few months.

It gets the job done and seems accurate but the knob to release the air gets stuck very easily.

This sphygmo is still working strong with vigorous use. The accuracy is super great. I have gone through so many cuffs in 23 years as a nurse. The only way one will get 5 stars is if the sphygmo clip or holder doesn't break or lose its stitching by the time I get around to rating it. This one's stitching came out this week. Yes I'm hard on BP cuffs. I have hand stitched the clip holder back on with more than one. My pet peeve is having to juggle the sphygmanomometer, the stethoscope, and the patient's arm with 2 hands. Stitch it extra, glue it, I don't care. Just make it stay, and this cuff will have a 5.

I have had 2 in the last 6 months and I bought this brand because Prestige is a well known company in healthcare. Very disappointed in the quality. It works great when it works….

I ordered this to replace my old Prestige Medical cuff, so I'm already a fan of the brand. When I received it, the dial was out of calibration. I emailed their customer service with a picture, and they sent a new dial within a few days. Great customer service!

Nice manual blood pressure cuff.Comes with a pouch to be stored in. Black in colour - clear markings to assist with placement and a loop for the gauge to be clipped to for further ease of use.Used it a good few times accuracy seems spot on.Reasonably priced for a nice quality cuff to go into my own personal kit bag.

I am a student midwife and wanted to get ahead learning some of my skills, so i thought i would buy this portable sphygmomanometer to start practising.I got a blue cuff - which i was hoping for - and it came quickly and wrapped up well.Instructions are clear, though beware that this cuff does not have an arrow to point at the brachial artery - you have to follow the packaging to learn where to place the cuff.My only concern was that there is no way to calibrate the needle yourself (it must be sent off) and mine was a little bit out on arrival (not enough to be inaccurate as it still sat within 'acceptable' region).
