Love the size so these are the ones I buy. Other brands are called "mini" but they aren't small. These are perfect.

I have tried so many different fish oil delivery methods, and this one finally works! First I tried the standard pills; they were HUGE and I kept choking on them and throwing them up. Next I switched to flavored syrups, but the fishy aftertaste was so disgusting I threw that up too. After that I discovered mini pills, but they were really rigid and spherical and despite their size were difficult to swallow, AND they gave me horrendous fish burps, which were making me gag and made it difficult to take and keep down the pills. Then I discovered these mini pills coated to prevent breakdown in the stomach which causes fish burps. At long last, I have a solution! Although they are much larger than the non-coated minis I tried, they are much easier to swallow because of their shape and squishiness. I can also confirm ZERO fish burps.

Hey, so I want to add to other reviews out there. For someone that struggles to swallow pills, I was a bit hesitant to try to swallow the smaller version of Omega 3 pills and have to take 2 a day..ugh, But I have good news! I don't understand how, but even though I still find it to be a big size for my "uncommon throat", I can confirm that I have been able to swallow these pills for over 10 days now !! Not to mention that there's no taste to them or weird burps people share about. So I strongly recommend these pills. Thank you Nature's Bounty! I hope this helps with my cholesterol levels :)

Great product for reducing inflamation. Small enough to swallow and no fishy burp after.

I’ve been taking these for years! I appreciate the small size which is easy to swallow, and no fishy taste EVER. My doctor recommended them because they have 900 mg of Omega-3.

These are large but not near as bad as the large ones. I use one every three days to keep the recommended dha/epa of 250 mcg. Your body keeps epa/dha for three days. We have some fish too so that seems enough. My stomach does not get bothered. I have not tried doing more frequently but the large pills daily were awful on my stomach and I dont want to push it. .

Bought for my husband. It got stuck in his throat and he choked and it took several coughs and gagging to even get it out. It was frightening to watch him. Though the pill is designed to be smaller, it is actually shorter in length but fatter around the middle, compared to the full size pill by the same manufacturer. I have attached a photo of the pill next to the full size one and a photo if the 2 bottles so you can see that I am comparing 2 pills, both Natures Bounty softgels. Part of the problem may be also that the pills are not coated smooth so they are stickier than regular vitamin pills. In fact, to make things worse, the pill swelled up a bit while it was stuck in his throat, which made coughing it up even more problematic. In sum, both the extra roundness and the sticky surface makes this pill more difficult to swallow for people like my husband. I do not have a problem swallowing large pills like my husband, so if you are like me, you can disregard this warning. So for me, both pills were easy to swallow and had no fishy taste and was burp free. But if have a problem swallowing large pills, I would not recommend this pill.
