Mathematics for Economists Paperback – 1 January 2018

The book quality is good.

Contains every math you need for Undergraduate economics.Optimization chapters are very good and has lots of economic application from every field of economics.Linear algebra part is exceptionally good.You won't find any undergraduate mathematical econ books in the market which has treated linear algebra so well.This prepares you well for econometrics course.Also has the minimum about of real Analysis required for ISI MSQE exams.Just doesn't covers intergral calculus well and also some pages have poor printing but that doesn't make this book bad

Only 4-5 pages are like this, where the both sides overlap and there's trouble reading but I think most of us can ignore it in a 1000pg+ book. Other than that it's great. Can't comment on the nature of content, will try do that after finishing exams.

This book is wonderful. But, why is the author's name written simply as Carl P. Simon. It confuses the buyer. It has confused me because I ordered the same book that is with the same title, but with two authors Carl P. Simon and Lawrence Blume thinking the former to be different. The seller, Viva book, should mention the authors correctly.

Excellent book for Basic and intermediate level of maths for economics. Very clear text. Lucid writing. Awesome book for reference use.

Packing was fine. Delivery was on time. I am not going to comment on its content.One thing i would like to highlight is the paper quality. Its not poor but also not at par.
