I've not skipped since I was a child, I'm now 45 but certainly not unfit! I brought this rope purely on the reviews alone and I'm not disappointed at all. It's a brilliant rope! Don't read other reviews and think you won't be able to use this rope if your new to skipping, I'm new to skipping and I love this rope. After resizing it a few times I've now got it perfect for me, it's a speed rope and so very light, it doesn't tangle at all due to the ball bearings in the handle which give a perfect smooth rotation every time. After a few stops and starts I'm now doing around 1000 reps in about 10 minutes, this has taken me about 4 days to achieve and as I said before I'm new to this. I also brought a dope rope which is a heavier beaded rope and I must admit I hate that rope compared to this one. Its a bonus that you get a spare rope, bag etc. I also brought a basic 6mm gym mat to skip on, i use the mat both inside and out on my patio, this rope isn't to be used on concrete etc it will wear down very quickly.

After going through a number of the more expensive premium ropes this rope is by far my favourite and holds up well over extensive use (30 minutes daily). The other ropes tend to fail much earlier in my experience. My only minor niggle would be that the handles are very light and it would be nice to be able to add a bit or weight but still doesn't bother me. 5 stars

Good rope for training with.

Nice ropes , lightweight , I like that you can alter the length of the time to suit your own size and good that they come with 2 ropes . They turn nicely in your hands .Downside is that they still give you that whip on the back of the legs when you don’t time your jump properly. Ouch

I can’t get over the quality of this skipping rope, the lightweight, the spare rope and all the other spare parts and an Allen key. And it’s all kept in a neat drawstring bag to make it portable. They’ve thought of everything. Great price too!

Love it! They are just like the pictures announced... note that once you adjust the height you have to cut the rope (not like those that has a button and you can pass through the excess rope inside the handle)... One suggestion I would make is for them to share the instructions to adjust the height with the product... as I am new to crossfit and jumping ropes I had no clue how to adjust it and I had to Google it... Prior to buying this I was only using the ropes available at my crossfit... and i was never able to do double unders.... the first day using this one I got it!!! Super happy with that!!

Pros: - Lightweight, fast rope that will get you the double-unders you desire - Instructional videos make setting up your rope to your measurements easy and included helpful how-to exercise videos - Price, which includes extra hardware and a second rope - Colour options, bought green because I thought it would decrease the chance of it being stolen (still hasn't been stolen) Cons: - The cable is good quality and therefore will leave bruises on shins and triceps when you're first learning to do double-unders - Plastic handles are cheaper than other models I've tried but haven't broken after over 5 months of use - Small silicone pieces meant to keep the handles near the ends of the rope tend to slide toward the middle of the rope which can cause the rope to shorten while in use Overall: I went from never having done a double-under to cranking out 30 in one month with this rope. Highly recommend this product based on the quality, helpful videos, and extra hardware they provide. Thank you WOD Nation.
