Festool Cyclone Dust Collection Pre-Separator

This is great especially in a small workshop/shed. It's so versatile you can use it on top or next to it , with or without the tub. And the suction is really good. It's a bit expensive but it's so versatile and great in a works great in small areas. Definitely recommend it 👌

Game changer - no more beeping every minute blocking the filter when vacuuming the workshop floor. Hardly anything reaches the vac itself now & all goes in the cyclone! Expensive addition but engineered beautifully as expected being Festool & makes everything work better.

Great extraction and separating dust and shavings from dust particles that end up in the extractor bag. Plus it’s fun to watch the cyclone inside the large tub when it’s sucking up dust. Worth the money in the long run, especially if you fill up an extractor dust bag every few days. You can just empty the tub straight into a rubble sack which will take a wile to fill in itself.

This is a reasonable cyclone and collects lots of debris I use it with a CTM Midi and a 27mm hose. The hose has a right angle on one end to go into the separator and a straight connector on the other to go in the vac. However there are a few major issues with it: 1. When used with an M class vac on full power the flow alarm bleeps constantly. It’s really annoying. 2. There is a definite loss of suction and this is much worse than the dust commander cyclone I used previously. 3. Using it with the bags is pointless they get sucked in too much of any blockages and are rendered useless. I’m not sure for the price it can be justified, it’s really handy having it on top of the vac as one package but the loss of suction and flow alarm issues probably negate the benefit. I’m going to try a 30mm hose to see if it improves things, I may attempt to improve the seals in the separator but at this price this shouldn’t be needed!

First I use with my bag was full and not felt no power and regret buying then I bought new bags and after its amazing I used with lack bin bags and all good.My machine weight stay as empty and cyclone take all the depries and dust,very happy now,I don't have to carry extra weight .price its to much but this is festool product.

It’s great dust preseparator, some dust still got trough to the bag but hey be realistic😉. Just get long life dust bag.

This product is worth the money if you need a cyclone it's nearly on the top and works in the way it should taking the majority of the wood shavings works on holiday or touch went tours that have tried so far I wish I bought it earlier easy easy to see when 1/3 full or half full which seems to be a good time to empty up and go again

I do a lot of wood work and dust extraction is important, bags fill fast. This is a very good addition to my festool dust extractor

First of all I’m a Festool Fanatic and I am a professional cabinet maker, so this was an answer to a problem I had in my shop. My shop vacuum is set up as a tool caddy, with the boom arm hose and a moving work station. Whenever my vacuum bag was full I had to disassemble my unit to retrieve the bag and replace or empty the bags (I set up a way to suck the dust out with my large delta 4” vacuum to save money on bags) So when I caw this product I was excited but the reviews were mixed as to performance. To be honest, when I first installed it I was concerned that the suction was reduced quite a bit from a straight hose connection, but decided to give is a trial run with my current project. After cutting several sheets of plywood and solids, I was surprised at how well my saws and sanders worked collecting the dust. I saw no loss of suction efficiency in my tools, and the CT Cyclone bin filled up and I dumped it not having to get to the bag. I have not used my router or domino yet, but I’m sure it will continue to perform well. I will give an update later if it does not. So far so good with my first experience.

Echt super das Teil. Dadurch hält der Staubsauger noch längere Jahre durch.
