I love historical books and Christian books. This is the best of both. Such an enjoyable book. Holds much hope.

This is an inspirational story of Takashi Nagai, scientist, father, husband and disciple of Christ. It is extremely well written, blending throughout its pages the history and lessons learned leading up to the fateful day when an atomic bomb was dropped on Nagasaki. It continues with Nagai’s journey after the bomb was dropped and how his life transformed countless others who suffered from that incident. This book contains many prophetic comments, especially about life’s sufferings.

The life of Takashi Nagai is very uplifting and hopeful. A man of deep faith and wisdom. A must read.

An important biography of someone who radiated God’s love through frightful conditions. Takashi Nagai was a Word of God man, who came to it through great suffering and great faith.
