Nice case for the money
Overall, I am very pleased with this case. My guitar came with the standard cardboard case, with very little padding or protection. I needed something that was more substantial just to get back and forth from guitar lessons. I have a concert-sized guitar but couldn't find reasonably priced case that would ship for less than price of the case itself (I live in Alaska). Buying this dreadnought-sized case was best choice. This is a very secure case with good support and padding. Addition of a rolled towel makes it fit my guitar perfectly. Waterproof exterior means I can set it in the snow while opening a car door, and feel that there is adequate insulation protection from danger of extreme temperature changes. These were all important considerations for me.So here is why this is not equivalent to a much more expensive case: latches seem secure but hinges look cheap and easily broken. No, this has not happened to my case, but I will be inspecting them regularly because they look weak. Also, every time before I close and latch the case, I have to make sure the edges of the case are all perfectly aligned. As I tried to show in picture, the metal edges will be slightly off when closing the case, and need realignment to close latches completely without damage. Minor issue, but worth noting. It is also possible the case was bent in shipment, since the case ships in flimsy box that was totally destroyed by the time it arrived at my address. One other issue: I really like the ribbon attaching the top of case to bottom, keeping the top from flopping all the way open and straining the hinges. But if it was just an inch longer, the top of the case would set back slightly instead of at a 90 degree angle, and I wouldn't risk slamming the case on my hand/guitar every time I accidentally bump the open top. This is something I plan to alter myself since it is an easy fix.Still the best case available for the price on Amazon, and a case that I will fit my needs for several years to come.

Fair protection for a fair price.
I bought this for a Blueridge BR-160 dreadnought guitar and it fits like a glove. It's a nice looking case, seems well made. Seems secure and sturdy yet also light weight. I think it'll be great protection for around town and back and forth to gigs, but I don't think I'd trust it with airline baggage handlers. The storage compartment is a little less than traditional wood hard cases I'm used to, but not terrible. All in all it's a pretty good case and I think pricing is about spot on.

This is a nice case for the money.
The product is lightweight. It’s about as sturdy as I expected for the money. I wouldn’t trust it for a flight case, but it’s a really nice everyday case.

A REALLY, REALLY GOOD CASE!!!
I was looking for a hard case to replace the "gig bag" that my son's Taylor 110e Dreadnaught came with, but I didn't want to spend a fortune. While a gig bag is okay for protecting the finish of the guitar from dings and scratches, it really offers next to nothing in the way of protecting a guitar from the stresses of falling or having something fall onto it and provides no help in protecting against rain or moisture control. I wasn't looking for the "Fort Knox" of cases (why spend $250 bucks on a case to protect a $700 guitar in the car trunk?), so after reading other reviews, I thought this case would be sturdy enough and still offer the backpack style carry straps that are so appealing on the gig bags, something my son has fallen in love with. Something that eliminated all the "vinyl and plywood" cases WITHOUT straps. The carton it shipped in looked like it had gone through a gauntlet of the worst postal handlers -- huge chunks of cardboard missing and crushed corners and sides, but the actual case inside was okay. When I unwrapped the case I noticed the color was very nearly black instead of the blue color that is listed. Not that the color really mattered, but I would have opted for the black case if it hadn't been 50 dollars more, so this was actually a pleasant surprise. When we placed the guitar inside, even my hard-to-impress 15 year old son commented It was like this case was designed for the Taylor-- right down to the opening for the electric pickup controls (see photo) on the guitar's body. He's right--it was a great fit after we added only about a half inch of padding to the bottom. Just enough room inside and the first time it falls over with the guitar in it, it will have paid for itself seven times over! BTW... this case is built very well. It has an arched top (not found on the vinyl and wood cases) which adds strength and will prevent it from being crushed down into the face of the instrument. It has four "Indexing" latches on the front and bottom with a fifth latch on the back side -- something that many higher priced cases lack. Another nice feature is that it stays open when you raise the lid and does not tip over backward as you take out the guitar. That may not sound too impressive, but if you have ever had a guitar case lid swing shut or the case suddenly flip up as you are taking a guitar out (ouch!!!-the dreaded "latches scratches" on your hand and/or the guitar!!!), you will really appreciate a well behaved case! In all, it looks like this case should clearly stand up to some rough handling. maybe not "airline" weekly travel, but certainly any trip in the back of the van to and from lessons and jam sessions travel. There are practically zero reason's not to love this case so far. I couldn't be happier with this decision to purchase and would buy it again. In fact, I might even buy one to keep my 1960's Daimaru Acoustic Gibson knock-off in, but the case might be worth more than the guitar!!!!

Happy !
I paid CAD$230 tax in. If you are looking for fiberglass case for your dreadnought, this is probably the best value for money.

Does not fit, despite description
I bought this for my 17" archtop, which should have fit - the description states that it will take a lower bout of 17.5". It is nowhere close - I was able to wedge the guitar in, but the zipper would not close, in fact there was a gap of several inches. Returned.
