Best book
A book for 3 year old who wants some interaction. Read it aloud with modulation of voice and ur kid is going to love it.

Great for a young child with a sense of humour
I bought this for my 5 year old neice and she loves it and giggles when we read it together. She is familiar with this series of pigeon books by the same author, which I also highly recommend. Pigeon has an attitude and will have your little one shouting at him to go to bed by the end of the book. Hopefully they will see some resemblance to their own bedtime tantrums and go to bed without much fuss. Either way, its fun read.

Lovely, adorable book
After reading this, I do understand why this is a cult book.The pigeon is simply adorable, he just wants to stay up late. And like all little ones, give 105 reasons for doing it. List of excuses - i need to drink water, i am not tired, good program on tv tonight etc. Rings a bell. Little ones will love saying "No" to him and as they become a little older they will say "Yes" to all his excuses as well.

La paloma es un personaje muy bien construido, su personalidad divierte a los niños. Aunque es un libro en inglés, utiliza frases sencillas para los niños y los padres que no dominan el idioma como yo.

wir haben unseren Spass bei dieser Geschichte. Das zuhörende Kind wird teil der Geschichte, übernimmt eine Rolle - klasse Idee!

This whole series is just brilliant! My elder son (6) loves the pigeon stories and finds them hilarious (as do I!). My younger son (4) doesn't quite 'get' all of the humour so maybe better for slightly older children (6 up?) As with the Elephant and Piggy books everything is in speech bubbles and very little text on each page so good for children who don't love reading yet to get them going I would think.

Tutto è iniziato dopo aver preso in prestito dalla scuola inglese il libro THE PIGEON NEEDS A BATH, dopo di chè abbiamo dovuto comprarli tutti! E' una collana esilarante!!! Semplice, pieno di immagini, la grafica e la mimica del piccione sono meravigliosi!! Penso che questo sia probabilmente il libro illustrato per bambini, che più di tutti ho amato, tra quelli presi per mia figlia! (alla pagina dove scopriva i suoi "wriggly toes" ho pianto dal ridere!!!) Consegna come sempre perfetta di Amazon, nei tempi previsti ed accuratezza impeccabile!
