my boy loves it! Every morning we know its chicken time, because he demands it! We actually like to do half a can of this on top of science diet dry food and he goes nuts for it. Ive used their prescription food in the past for older cats, and I decided to start of my current cat with this brand food from the time he was a kitten. his fur is stunningly soft, beautiful, and he has tons of energy even now that he's almost 4 years old. This is a cat food you feed your feline if you really love them. It's worth the price especially considering the cost of the vet. Speaking of, he ate a string that had to be removed surgically. The vet said to only feed wet food, and only a little bit at a time. This was the only thing he even seemed interested in, and it had to be held in my hand. its not fun touching any cat food, but i strongly feel that because of this canned food being so nutrition dense, that he was able to recover very quickly from a seriously invasive and painful surgery. got a lifetime buyer here.

This is great! Just sad I can't get from my local Petsmart. Shelves there are bare. I have 2 overweight 4 yr old cats, and a normal 8 mo old. I've fed the overweight cats Royal Canin's weight control dry food for over a year. I gave them Royal Canin's canned weight control as a 'treat', tiny timble portion 2x day. They both immediately improved energy and healthy coats, but no weight loss. I researched again last month and see that canned food is actually more effective for weight loss. Therefore I switched to these cans from Hills. Major reason for choice was 5.5 oz cans. The 3 oz were annoying when trying to feed 3 cats. Now I split the 5.5oz can among all 3, morning and evening. Dry food was cut in 1/2. They absolutely love this. They are more active. Playing MUCH more. The best thing...they don't beg!! I don't even have to give them dry at all, in mornings. They do beg a little, but not as early or often. Too early to see weight loss, but the activity should help move the bar in right direction.

Each time I have ordered canned food, several of the cans have been dented. Some worse than others.

Here are my cat's favorite foods! They provide all the nutrition she needs, especially with her stomatitis. I always choose the puréed variety for her.

I recently acquired my family cat from my mother after she moved. We transitioned her from an outdoor cat to indoor, and wanted to make sure she was switched from friskys and other garbage brands to a high quality wet food. While expensive, this brand is vet recommended and the ingredients are better quality than most other popular brands. My cat loves it (she’s a picky eater), I mix it with a little water to help keep her hydrated. Her bowel movements are regular, her coat is soft and she has great weight and energy levels. I do also have her on a wellness core dry cat food (another great brand) to help prevent plaque build up on her teeth from eating so much wet food. She seems to be doing great on both. The only drawbacks are that it’s pricey and smells terrible. But I wouldn’t expect cat food to smell nice anyway. She seems to be doing well on it, it’s back by veterinarians and that’s what matters to me!

I have been feeding our cats Science Diet canned for a couple of years now and occasionally notice that one of our cats seems to cry a lot after meals and another occasionally vomits. I decided to look at the ingredients and I couldn't believe that science diet used some of the garbage they do vs. cheaper brands. First of all if your cat has any kind of GI issues or appears in distress after eating this look into Carrageenan. That stuff is AWFUL! It causes widespread inflammation and can cause ulcerations in the intestines. Humans shouldn't touch it (even though it is in some of our food also) and the fact that its so high on the ingredient list in science diet tells me that my cat is probably having stomach aches after he eats. The carrageenan is an IBS trigger for many humans, studies show it can cause cancer and a plethora of other diseases and issues. Just because something is "natural" doesn't make it safe, poison ivy and arsenic are natural as well. Science diet regularly uses Gums and they are also high on the ingredient list and they cause many people GI trouble, I'm sure its not much different for a cat. I thought spending more money on science diet (and it being a food many vets recommend and sell in their offices) would mean I was doing the best I could for my pets and getting better ingredients, I was wrong! After looking at the much shorter ingredient list in the gravy types of foods that are HALF the cost I am switching today! One of the more popular grocery store brands is worlds cleaner than this. I feel guilty I didn't look into their food ingredients sooner. Hopefully now I save some money and have happier healthier cats! I will try to update on the status of my kitty's crying and vomiting after making the switch.

Cat hated it.. didn’t look right, didn’t smell right.. cat wouldn’t eat it..

Thought I was buying a 24 pack of expired cat food for cheap, turns out I hit 1 overpriced can that the cat didn’t even eat. Remove the number 24 on this item!

Great choice for my cat who can not have anything fish. High quality and the cats are happy with it.
