After reading lots of positive reviews I decided to change my 9 month old JRT from jameswellbeloved to Ardengrange, first of all it smells terrible so I have no idea what my jack Russell thinks of the smell, secondly his stools are not the best , the majority of them are not very firm at all . I will finish the bag but it's debatable as to whether I will buy this again , especially as the smell of it makes me want to be sick

After doing extensive research on dog food analysis websites, this brand got a 4* rating (out of 6) and was within my price bracket, so I bought it (the 5 and 6* products were super-expensive organic, grain free brands!). Anyhoo, my puppy wolfed it down, and you can tell it's good quality by the darkness of the kibble, compared to the pale, anaemic looking IAM puppy kibble. Puppy is fit and active, with glossy coat, and her runny, pale poo is now firm and dark. Will definitely buy again alongside Harrington's Grain Free brand, which is a bit friendlier on your purse! I wean puppies on to this where I can. Very good food. I was recommended it at crufts many years ago and have had my adults on this brand too. Excellent food for those with sensitive tummys

A decent quality food for price paid and used to feed my previous dog on this throughout her life. However my new puppy was not keen on this and in particular the smell seemed to put her off! Changed to another brand now.
