Q: Do these speakers work with Airplay? I couldn't find it in any of the reviews.

It is compatibel with AirPlay AND bluetooth. Both have different feature set.

Q: Can anyone tell me if this speaker will work for tv? Like a portable home theater system?

It has a standard 1/8" mini-stereo plug auxiliary input, so it can play content from devices that output line level stereo.
