Hot Toys Iron Man Mark VII The Avengers 1:6 Scale 12" Figure

Amazing more than expected. Really cool figure perfect condition have recommended this sight to many people. looks great in his man room.

This is by far the most money I've ever dumped on a piece of plastic from Hot Toys! That being said I am so happy that I parted with my hard earned cash. Okay first the pluses. The Tony Stark head sculpt is as usual with Hot Toys brand photo realistic. I was also surprised at the paint job on the head, it's the best one I've seen so far. The armor sculpt is also highly detailed, they even sculpted the parts that are only seen when the suit is taken apart. The other features are the same as all the other Iron Man 1:6 scale figures. Many movable joints for any poses you can think up. Lots of interchangeable pieces of (freaking awesome) armor mostly looking battle damaged. Three sets of hands, one set has movable fingers. The mini missile attachments look great, every time I look at them on the figure I want to go watch that seen in the movie. Of course the helmet chest and hands all light up and look totally sweet. Paint job on the armor is also spot on, no smudges at all. Okay onto what everyone likes to know about, the problems with the figure. My number one problem with this figure is that the body seems to be made of a light plastic that I usually find in Revoltech brand robot type figures. What does this mean? Well it means you better put this on a low shelf because if it falls onto the hard floor it'll shatter like glass. Also it comes with a standard Hot Toys stand which is meant to be used on figures wearing cloth pants. First time I put the figure on the stand it fell right off it. If you get this figure, buy a clipping stand before you try to display it. Another problem with this figure is that in low room light the lights in the hands shine right through the red plastic. Which makes for a laughably bad effect. That is why I titled this review "Wish it was diecast" I know a metal version of this would be major amounts of money, but it's freaking Iron Man! All I can say about the Hot Toys Iron Man Mark VII is, am I fan? Yes I am! I loved the Avengers movie & have watched it many times now. Robert Downey Jr. & Mark Ruffalo make that movie for me in a super big way! Still have to get my hands on the Hulk figure though.

Wie fast immer sind die Figuren von Hot Toys sehr detailgetreu und wunderschön anzuschauen. Allerdings muss jeder Sammler selbst entscheiden ob er dafür diesen Batzen Geld bezahlen will. Bei mir gabs nur einen Wehrmutstropfen und zwar war der Minimagnet am helm bereits abgefallen und musste auf den 2ten umbauen.(nix was man mit Modellkleber nicht hinbekommt)

Literally falling apart when I got it The magnets keeping the parts together no longer works so parts of it are just falling off the leg keeps on popping off every time I move it and the arms fall off as well and it is not diecast. It’s feels like cheap plastic Can’t Stand up on its own without its base even with it. It struggles, so I can’t even display it without it falling in the middle of the night
