I bought 6 of these & am buying more today. (These are much better than the light-up glue traps & I don't have to remember to buy & replace the sticky panels) There is no sound - but I can see that LOTS of bugs have been zapped. Not many will be at the bottom of the zapper, but there well be black spots all over the grid inside. I mostly just shake the zapper over a trashcan. Occasionally, I use the brush that came with the set to clean more thoroughly.

These do not work at all. Maybe the mosquitoes in Arizona are smarter than the ones these people with the 4 and five star reviews have. I bought six of these and they’re all over the house and not one bug has been caught in one week and I got about 100 mosquito bites on my legs last night while sleeping. Don’t waste your money.

I’m very happy with my purchase. I was looking around for fly traps, and my mom would buy these fly traps with the sticky glue and the blue light but to me it seemed like a constant pain in the ass to have to switch those out every now and then and buy replacements and it’s just not something I wanted to deal with, and I didn’t know if anybody made electric fly traps for indoor because like I knew of those for outdoor use only because they make loud buzzing zapping noises, but I came across these and I saw good reviews and I wanted to try them out. First day I found Dead flies and gnats already stuck to them inside the house and in the garage and that one has the most. Now one thing is they work better in darker lighting so if you have the blinds open, it’s not gonna really attract them very well so at night time is really when it does the job but that’s the same for the sticky glue traps too. I think these are better because You don’t have to maintain them. They just sit there and the most you have to do is shake them off. Definitely worth the money.

These don’t really appear to do much at first look, but they actually do a really good job killing and catching small flying insects without the use of sticky material and at a reasonably good price especially when bought in multiples. Very easy to use and functions as promised.

I've had these plug in zappers for almost a month. They work great for gnats! The plastic guard snaps off to clean it. I brush them off into the trashcan with a small dry paintbrush everyday. Hopefully they last a long time. Will update my review in a few months.

They don't work and a total waste of money, going to send them back, but haven't found the box they came, wouldn't give them a star but being forced to
