I purchased the ortho backrest (regular size) and was very impressed by the comfort it provided. Hence I decided to go in for the backrest plus.The main difference is the site where you get comfort! The backrest plus is excellent to give a feeling of stability and comfort to the middle of the back and up to the lower end whereas the ortho backrest regular is great for the lower back specifically. Sitting on a chair with the backrest (either one) gives an immediate feeling of relaxation. In fact, regular seats will start to feel awkward from now on!!There is a version of the backrest plus that comes with a thicker base. Decide which one suits you.The backrest is excellent for proper posture while sitting. Follows the curve of the back properly. For best results, it should be used with a coccyx support (from Grin health as their products are of the highest quality) or the backjoy coccyx seat.Review of ortho backrest (regular)This product really gives "rest"to the "back". It helps in proper posture and once you start using it, other regular seats feel uncomfortable. The thicker base is firm yet gives in to proviude just the right amount, hence providing ideal comfort (the memory foam at work!!). It works best with a coccyx seat or support. I recommend purchasing the ones available from Grin health. I've purchased multiple products from them and have never been disappointed. But one must know which support goes with which type of seat.An advantage of these items is the bag that they come with. It makes it easy to carry around without feeling self-conscious or embarrassed.Note : The Customer support from Grin health is the BEST I'VE EVER SEEN. The Grin Health Orthopaedic Backrest Cushion is costly but too good for backrest. Its ergonomic shape makes it comfortable and fit for use. It comes with 3 softness variants and various color options. When we use it -- while sitting on a chair for long and then after, lower back feels comfortable and relaxed. It actually helps you maintain proper sitting posture. Aesthetic look and design enables it usable in very professional office environment too. I have long hour seating job, It is very difficult for me to sit long time and concentrate on my work it effect my efficiency. Last six month I used this backrest cushion It is very comfortable and easy to carry any where. I Love love this cushion. It works wonderfully. very premium product. It supports my spine and helps me sit straight for a long period of time without feeling numb. I bought another one for my father and I also send the link to my friends who also have backache issues. I have tried a couple of different supports in the past with little success, so when I though to buy this I was too hesitant but I m extremely happy that this is the real back rest .The support is quite firm but still has a little give to help cushion. It needs to be firm otherwise it won't support, it'll just conform. It has a nice fabric cover and It gets the job done, it's relatively inexpensive and best.I work at university in admin department and at my office chair as its expensive but lumbar support doesn't seem to be very effective, As I'm a reasonably fit person, but was getting a sore back after sitting all day as I mention I tried various solutions (rolled up towel, the "backrest ") before giving this a try.I'm very glad to say that after using this .Some points that you may want to be aware of:1. Initially (for the first time) it might feel very bulky around the sides each time I first sat in my seat, but it contoured itself to my back within 2-4 minutes and was unnoticeable after that.2. It's semi-shaped itself to my back so when I now sit in my seat it's now unnoticeable.3.I'd strongly recommend considering this if you are looking for something for your office, home or car; but it may take a couple of days for it to "bed in".
