Great for crafting
Purchased this for jewelry making and am very happy. Photo shows the polish colors on the back of glass cabochons at several angles. I did not use a backing color, just one thick layer of each color alone. All colors have a nice chameleon/dichroic effect except maybe the gold on the far left in the photos. Dried within 20minutes (in spite of the thick coat).

Absolutely gorgeous!
First let me start by saying that everyone rating these polishes poorly based on the sheerness of the polish and the size, does not know how to use these polishes. Don't rate something poorly because you don't understand it. These nail polishes are intended to be worn over a dark base, like black. They're sort of in the family of "toppers", nail polishes intended to be worn atop a base in order to create an accent or effect. These polishes, when worn over a black base, look exactly as the picture in the product description. As for people complaining about the size, if you read the description before you buy it, you'd see that it clearly says the bottles are approx 6ml. And if you don't know how much that is, then grab one of your polishes you likely already own and compare the size. Most drugstore brand polishes are close to 14ml, therefore it would be safe to assume that the product you'll receive will be about half the size of a regular polish you're used to buying. Then there's no surprise. Read people! Why would you rate a product poorly because of your own misunderstanding that has nothing to do with the quality of the product received?! Now for my personal thoughts about the product itself: these polishes are gorgeous and take only one coat over black to really get that color-shifting effect. I personally used 2 coats to make it a bit bolder but the difference between 1 coat vs 2 wasn't that much. If using only 1-2 thin coats over black (like you're supposed to) then the small size of the bottle doesn't matter because it'll last you longer. The quality of the color shift was (to me) on the same level as KB Shimmer polishes. BEAUTIFUL. As with most multichromes, the effect is strongest in natural light, and I can't stop looking at my hands. My Top Home and Tu Es Ma Lumiere both have holographic glitters while L Heure Bleue has small green glitters. My Top Home shifts between yellow, orange, green and at times almost a pink? Tu Es Ma Lumiere has blue/purple and yellow/orange like colors. L Heure Bleue shifts between purple, green and blue. What makes them such high quality is that you can even see some of the color shift indoors in normal low lighting. Some duo/multichromes are very dull indoors, but not these!!! I can't wait to use these for nail art! Right now I wore them alternating to test them out, but I already have friends who adore them. I may need to get a few as gifts, and at $15 for 3 polishes, that's not bad at all! I will definitely be buying these again in the future and recommending them to everyone. In the picture: My Top Home is worn on my thumb and ring finger, Tu Es Ma Lumiere is on my pointer and pinky, and L Heure Bleue is on my middle finger. (Yes, the names are confusing. You'd expect that L Heure Bleue to be the more deep blueish one, but it is not. It's the one with the strong green shift and the green glitters. Go figure.)

Beautiful, but put on multiple coats
As most of the reviews have mentioned, these are small bottles compared to OPI or sally hansen or other nail polishes from the store. They’re very sheer, especially the blue-pink color (FS01, on my ring finger and thumb in the picture). You can get away with two coats, but I added 3 to all of them because I could still see my nail bed through the FS01 color. FS04, or the pink one, is the least true to color based on the pictures. The bottle I received looks far more blue than pink in the bottle and it looks more blue on my index finger. That said, I will definitely be keeping them and will use them all. It’s cheaper than most holo or multichrome nail polishes I’ve seen online and the colors are really pretty. The nail polish has a strong smell, but the brush is really easy to use. It’s a nice, thin formula that goes on without mess and dries quickly. The picture included is without a topcoat.

Colors are MUCH darker than pictured, but super glossy!
This is nice polish- goes on great over a base coat, but the colors are not the bright, pretty colors pictured in the images. The colors are very dark. So if you’re hoping for the sheer jelly look, with bright pretty colors, this isn’t going to give you that at all, but your nails will be super glossy looking with deep jelly colors.

Smart addition to personal stock -
Since I was a pre-teen in the '60s, I've 'done my nails'. Through the years, I've accumulated a wide variety of colors by several different manufacturers. Every few years, I've culled and replaced old bottles of dried and/or no-longer-used colors before buying fresh and new. Gone are the days of bright green and orange nails, along with love beads and ragged jeans [except on special occasions]. Now, I keep a more modest variety of colors on hand. This assortment replaces some old stock and hues while still adding new tones from which to choose. The variety fits and adds some splash to my stock. The choices are varied, but I still keep black for Halloween. The colors are not garish; they're muted but not to the point of invisibility. Two light coats bring out the color. It does not chip or flake off when applied. It dries quickly, does not smudge. NOTE: Within 30 minutes of application, I was knitting with no damage to my nails. If you do not have an hour or so to 'do your nails', use these. You won't be sorry.

Color shifting fun!
I have to say I really like these. The color shifts had me entertained for a while. I love the pink-yellow one the best. The purple-green was okay too. The big flakes of green glitter in that one surprised me. You can definitely see them in my picture (on my thumbnail). The purple one was a bit disappointing; it would have been nice if that one had some kind of dynamic color shift too. Upon looking, the Amazon product images are accurate in their portrayal of the colors. On the other hand, it's a really nice glittery purple. The bottles are small, see my picture of them next to your standard Essie bottle, but I'm not sure these effects are readily available on Amazon, so for that alone, they could be worth it if you really want to add them to your collection. Oh and a warning for anyone who doesn't like having to use multiple layers of polishes, I used at least 3 layers, especially for the color-shifting polishes. It's worth it to get the full effect in my opinion. It really is pretty and fun :D
