Bought this mat as an alternative to an inflatable sleeping mat for backpacking/camping. The weight of the mat is actually 2 lbs not 3.5 lbs. This might seem hefty for backpacking but It is warm, soft and thick enough to ensure a good night's sleep. I usually pair an inflatable mat with a foam pad in case the mat bursts and will be pairing this mat too. If I could make a recommendation to kingcamp it would be to waterproof it either entirely or on one side, add a temperature rating and maybe a strap or two on the side of the bag for transporting during backpacking.. I have a similar mat at home which I use daily. The mat is always warm. Never a cold spot and I have the best night's sleep on it. While I have to try the kingcamp one out on trail I expect it to be just as satisfying with good performance. Added bonus, no worries about it bursting/deflating during the night. This camping mat is a little bit of luxury and worth its weight.edited to add : i have since taken it on the West Highland Way (Scotland) as my only mat instead of teaming it up. It performed brilliantly and kept me warm and comfortable even during the colder stormy nights. No problem with damp from condensation. Have bought another for my daughter for backpacking the WHW again next year.

Really comfortable and plenty of room to sleep on your side if you wish. Very sturdy and strong structure. Also nice size side pocket to pop your phone or glasses into. If you're looking for a camping bed then this is a must buy. I would definitely buy again and I would definitely recommend this seller. I am 💯 delighted with them both. Not the most stable or beds to be honest.. don't move it once it's up and assembled otherwise the ends just keep popping off.Hopefully I wont move too much in my sleep and end up being swallowed by a collapsing bed!I'm only 88kg and it rocks a lot... wouldn't want to put on weight and see how it copes!

Bought the XL size. Once out of the storage bag, it takes 10 seconds to put up. I put some colored tape at one end so I can always get it the right way round. It's very sturdy. I'm 88kg and it supports me with ease, and no wobbles. I use a Thermarest Base Camp self inflating mat on top of the bed, which makes it very comfortable. I'm a side sleeper and have no issues with the slightly raised head end.Packing up is very quick, just needing to be careful how the textile bed folds up, then a velcro strap round to hold it together, and back in the bag.It's not the lightest bag, or the smallest pack to carry about so definitely a car job to transport any distance.Overall, so far, seems excellent quality and very convenient.

Why did you choose this product over others?:half year and its done... writen 120kg i below 100 but material ripped of and bed is over... Other hand, was pretty good, very easy to build it. just weak material.

Seems good quality and very sturdy and comfortable and light to carry.Easy to assemble just took me about 5mins to work out how to fold back🤦😅 but it does seem to be good value for money.

Good camp bed. Quite heavy but strong.It’s extra width is good as stops knees hurting on edge.
