The color Is stunning and the fabric is very high end linen. I also got them in purple. It truly made my table look gorgeous!!!

These are well made and they look good but only if steam ironed or ironed with spray sizing. That's typical for linen but these don't respond AT ALL to "hand smoothing" even if fresh out of the dryer. A nice look; can go with formal or casual place settings, but look terrible un-ironed.

Looks great but will need regular ironing.

For formal dinner napkins you should have a larger set to completely cover a guest's lap. Most of my cloth napkins have been smaller and have been more decorative than practical for proper etiquette. These are the napkins you get for formal meals and holiday gatherings. They are very well made and the stitching is exceptional. They have held up now for several washes without fading. Being a little heavier there are some fun things you can do with them for the table presentation with rings and folding.

These are now my nicest and favorite napkins. I am using the navy color, which hopefully will take longer to show stains than my other lighter-colored napkins. I'm quite impressed with the sophisticated look and feel of their medium-weight European 100% flax linen. The stitching around the napkins' hems is nicely done, with no mistakes. These napkins are also quite large—20 inches by 20 inches—providing great coverage of any lap, and suitable for use as a bib as well. The napkins have stood up well to machine washing; I've used the cold-water gentle cycle, and dried on low heat. They do come out fairly wrinkled, which is fine by me, and nothing an iron couldn't resolve, if you are so inclined. I am very pleased with this order, and happy to recommend the Solino Home linen napkins for your use.

Oversized. Nothing pretty about them.

If you want elegant placemats and do not mind ironing, these placemats might be what you are looking for. They are lighter weight and nearly 4½ times more expensive (per placemat) than some other beige linen placemats I requested, but they are definitely more elegant than some other placemats. As a test, my Wife washed this placemat in the washing machine on a cold, gentle cycle (per the instructions), partially dried it on low in our drier, and then hung the placemat up to finish drying. I took a photo of two of the placemats – one out of the box and another after being washed and dried (photo). It is quite evident that some ironing will be required. PROS • Supposedly hand-crafted, elegant linen placemats. • These placemats are machine washable. CONS • Nearly 4½ times more expensive (per placemat) than some other linen placemats. • The placemats will require ironing if you want them smooth and flat.

I think these work best in coordinated combinations. The tablecloth that decorates for daily use, can be partially covered with an easy care poly-blend topcloth during meals. This eliminates the need for constant laundering and ironing of the linen base cloth. You may find that the overly thin placemats look best atop other fabric layers. Napkins are fine when folded. All of the products require careful laundering and ironing if desired. I tumble dry tablecloths and napkins briefly until half-dry then hand them out. I am averse to ironing - except for placemats. Takes work, but with imagination and a fat wallet, these can really look good.
