Municipal water is that bad!
Installed two weeks ago, and the first filter is already turning light yellow. It also has a ton of small black flakes covering it. YES! The city folks try their best, but the water is in need of more filtering when it enters your home. Get a filter and you will see! This filter is well built, thick, and is doing a great job. We did not experience any degradation in water flow, and I believe the money spent is well worth it. Great value!
