Freshest mukhwas! Will try other flavors soon
Highly recommend! The mukhwas had an airtight tin lid that must have sealed its freshness. You could really tell the difference. I will definitely buy again. Shipping was fast and it was cheaper than alternatives at local stores and on Amazon.

Quality product in a crappy jar
This is such a niche product in the US. If you go Indian restaurant take a closer look next time and you will see a little plate/tray by the register or somewhere on the way out with a variation of these. These are meant to after meal mouth fresheners. Kinda like chewing gum but the more natural way. Straight fennel is the most common of such fresheners and these are considered more premium blends. All three types you get are high quality and feel very fresh, atleast on first use. They use soda can like sealer on jar to keep them fresh and that really works. I also like that none of them are sweetened. In the family we prefer different ones so the so the taste and appeal are subjective. What takes the star away is the absolutely crappy plastic they used to make the jars. They are so bad that one of the caps already cracked on arrival. And another cracked on first use as tried to put it back on. And that's a shame because everything else is well executed.

Variety of tasty flavors.
The AftaWay Mukhwas are very tasty. The pack comes with three different blends, and you will likely find at least one that you like. The Flaxseed Power Blend is a bit more savory than the other two, and its my favorite of the bunch. It tastes almost like popcorn, with a little extra spice. Digestive Crunch and Crispy Kadi Patta, are a little sweeter, but still taste good, with a lot of interesting flavors. Mukhwas seem to traditionally be eaten after meals, but I ended up eating these for snacks. I emptied the Flaxseed Power Blend bottle pretty quickly. Don't hesitate to try this combo pack if its in your budget.

Yes, it's a snack. Not a spice blend.
For those less cultured folk like myself, this listing was incredibly confusing. The bottles look like spices, but the listing mentions it is a snack. When I got them, I continued thinking these had to be spices that were inadvertently labeled as snacks - but then I decided to go down the Wikipedia rabbit hole. Wikipedia defines Mukhwas as, "...a colorful South Asian after-meal snack used as a breath freshener." So, yes, for those like me who have no experience in this domain, these are indeed a snack. I would say it fits in similarly to where ginger does with sushi. It cleanses the palette after a meal, while offering savory flavor at a lower calorie count. It was a bit odd I'll admit eating this after a meal for the first time, but once I did I realized why it must be revered in certain cultures. Each one offered a bang of unique flavor that really made it feel like I was truly done eating. Like a dessert in a way, but spicy and healthy. I like it. I have no idea how these compare to any other brand or type, but as a clumsy American with a semi diverse palette I can say I thoroughly enjoyed these.

High quality
These mouth fresheners are quite refreshing and provide for an almost instant fresh breath. These are traditionally eaten after a meal to freshen up the mouth and avoid having your mouth stinking like a dish you just had. This set contains 3 bottles, each with a unique / non-traditional mouth freshener flavor profiles, but each does the job in its own way. Happy with the purchase overall.

not bad once I figured it out
I got these and actually thought they were seasonings but figured out when i got the package that arrived quickly, and learned these was not to season food or to sprinkle on salads, I had to figure out how to use these. The add didn't help much but a search engine informed me I was to eat this straight, I could only do a taste but they were pretty good. My favorite is sour and salty,

All natural Mukhwas
I don't have an Indian heritage and had never seen something like these before. I had to look up what a Mukhwas was. After reading about Mukhwas and reading the product description, I found this to be a very interesting product and couldn't wait to try them. There are three different mixes/flavors in the pack. The containers are plastic with a screw-top lid. The contents are originally hygienically sealed with a tin pull-tab lid to ensure product freshness. I like that the ingredients are all natural with no preservatives. All the ingredients look very crisp and fresh. You can tell by the contents and the contains that the Aftaway company cares about quality. The ingredients also appear to be picked for their different health benefits. I tried each of the 3 in the variety pack. You can tell the ingredients are fresh as I was able to almost pick out each of the ingredients in the flavor profile within my mouth. I found each of these in the variety pack to be refreshing when first tasting. Now here is where not having a familiarity with Mukhwas surprised me. I had to deduct a star because I did not like that even hours after tasting each of the products, I was left with a taste of soap in my mouth. I'm sure that if this type of product is a tradition in your background, you will love these because they do seem to be a quality product. These are just not for me.

This is the stuff by the Buddha statues at your favorite Indian place
I used to eat at an Indian place that had a little Buddhist shrine with three gold metallic bowls. In the bowls were various seeds and herbs they told me were mukhwas. I used to love chewing these after a spicy meal. Not only did they seem to help my digestion, they also refreshed my breath. This is a collection that closely approximates the mukhwas you'd find at your favorite Indian restaurant. They're expensive, but very high quality. The good thing is that you don't need a lot to get the refreshing, tummy-soothing effects. You get a blend of fennel, coriander, sesame seeds and dry coconut that you will love crunching. I use this after my coffee, after barbecue or other spicy foods. Works better than a breath mint for me.
