The KLIM Everest is a great choice for anyone looking to cool their laptop by 5-10°C (depending on ambient temp, workload, laptop spec etc). I initially had a squeaking problem with my unit (perhaps a loose bearing from manufacturing) but KLIM Support was very helpful and took care of the issue - for this solid warranty coverage alone I can recommend it. It works by pushing cold air through the (bottom) intakes of laptop, and features heat deflectors at the back to prevent sucking in warm air from exhausts. There's 6 levels of cooling 1-5 and then "Max". I leave it on 1 when streaming/watching media and Max when gaming. While Max speed is a little loud it's not as loud as my laptop fans so no complaints there. I don't really use the RGB lighting so I appreciate that it can be turned off. It also has dust filters on the intake which prevents the internals of the laptop getting dirty.

Very effective, and very high quality: foam creates seal, air gets pushed to where it needs to go. Item is designed very well, using high quality materials. It feels premium. Cost point is great considering how good the quality is. Very stable base for my laptop. There's a handy lip to keep it in place when used on high tilt. The fan is also much more powerful than the typical laptop coolers that don't create a seal around the laptop.

It made a 20°C difference on both my gaming laptops, which improved performance by some 30% on one of them and prevents it from shutting down without warning, which was the main reason why I got the cooling pad in first place. It is noisy, however, even with headphones. One laptop is larger, heavier, so the noise level is reduced compared to the other one, to a point it's bearable with headphones. The other is slightly smaller and lighter, leaving a gap at the front, from which wind and noise can escape, so I had to cut out my own foam to seal the laptop properly and reduce noise. The lower fan settings produce a noise that is much more noticeable and annoying than the max setting. So, I ended up opening the cooling pad to inspect the fans, to see if I could upgrade them, and found out that despite the good craftmanship, they are fitted upside down in a tight space, and unfortunately there's no easy fix, because they only fit in one way. The suction side of the fan is pressed against a cruciform support, leaving a tiny gap for air to go in and giving it a grinding noise due to the blade high passing frequency. When the fans are detached from the pad, they are much quieter and the grinding noise magically disappears. The entire pad acts as an echo chamber and amplifies the sound. Thus, I'll eventually try to install a thin layer of foam inside the enclosed spaces, away from the circulation paths, to see if it can absorb the noise. I might replace the fan screws with rubber supports, and apply foam where the fan casing touches the unit to see if helps too. Besides the noise, the unit works well.

Works like a treat, on average lowers my GPU temperature by 12c and that's when heavily gaming on Destiny 2. Aestheticaly is looks good, it is big but having a larger laptop means I hardly notice it. Nice, sturdy and hard to budge as It grips my desk like glue with perfect viewing angles. It is noisy at full pelt but I'm not fussed to be honest, I always use headphones anywho. Highly recommended if it's what you're after 💯

It absolutely does not fit my HP Omen 17 2023 (it made the temps HIGHER by 10°C in comparison to a regular cooler as it blocks halves of both the fans) despite saying that it supports 17.3" laptops. The only lucky part is that I could make use of it with my partner's ASUS ROG Zephyrus 15.6" laptop, on which it fits "just enough" when it comes to the fans. And even then, the laptop gets 1-2°C warmer than with a basic 2-100mm-fan laptop stand (which is also MUCH quieter than the Everest). As for the noise, it's only inaudible at level 1. Beyond that, the fans produce a high-pitch noise even more irritating than the ones in my partner's "ultra thin gaming laptop" ROG Zephyrus. The only positives with this cooler are a decent appearance and a dust filter. But for such a high price, I cannot recommend it. There are coolers that do a better job when it comes to cooling, while being cheaper and much quieter. I cannot recommend this one.

If you position laptop good this product is 10/10. It’s amazing, been gaming for hours, checked the heat of my laptop throughout and it’s keeps it cool Worth more in my opinion, this is a bargain

Did not like this one at all, it is very noisy on any setting and from 1-3 there is a very annoying drone! It is probably a perfectly good cooler if you always wear a headset but for me it was just annoying. Looks and feels good quality. Be warned when using the foam, check where your heat exhausts from before buying!

The idea is pretty good! The fans are really pushing the air inside but..! This thing wasn't designed for MSI laptops, or any other gaming laptops with fans located at the back of the computer. The vents of that device are blowing air underneath, tight in the middle and my MSI laptop doesn't have any holes there for the air to come through. Another big big proble is the sponge. That sponge covers the main vents of my laptop so if I wouldn't notice it my laptop would probably overheat and shut down. I'm talking 17 inch MSI laptop. I bet the same story would be with alienware etc. So... Nope. Good idea but for laptops I'm not sure they exist.

Am 14. April 2024 habe ich das Klim Everest Cooling Pad bestellt, kam zügig und funktionierte tadellos. Gekühlt wurde ein Gigabyte Aorus Laptop 17" mit einer RTX3080. Bei voller Leistung der Lüfter war die Gaming-Perfomance spürbar besser und messbar. Die Leistungseinbrüche und ein überhitzter Laptop bei maximal möglichen Einstellungen waren Geschichte und die Betriebslautstärke in diesem Szenario war mit Kopfhörern definitiv erträglich. Etwa 1 Jahr später machte sich einer der beiden Lüfter durch ein lautes rattern bemerkbar. Mit der Zeit wurde dieses Rattern zunehmend lauter. Ich nahm kontakt mit KLIM auf und der freundliche "Stephan" vom Kundensupport verwies mich auf meine Garantie und ein Ersatzgerät wurde mir schnellstmöglich geliefert! Das defekte Altgerät wurde nicht zurückverlangt und ich war insgesamt sehr positiv überrascht! Vielen Dank!

Hasta el momento es el mejor enfriador para laptop qué he adquirido, había probado distintos tipos de enfriadores pero ninguno lograba bajar la temperatura de mi laptop ya qué trabajo en ella casi 24/7 y la zona donde vivo es algo calurosa por lo cual no ayuda mucho a mi laptop; por lo que me opte por probar este producto y puedo decir que es muy bueno, el material es algo plásticoso pero se siente seguro, el aire qué vierte se siente muy bien, es percibible a un poco distancia, el ruido que genera si es percibido, entre más alto este más ruido se escucha pero te acostumbras a ello, en fin es el mejor producto que podría recomendar
