-Records peak altitude once per flight. - I think you install battery and press a button to "start". I think this just turns it on.- The peaks of you last ten flights (or so) are stored in a list you can scroll through.

Can this be used walking around to see the altitude of a piece of property?

IM not sure how best to answer it, but I'd say no. it starts at 0 feet and measures only to the peak altitude.
