although it was tough to get off the gear thingy, this tool was strong enough to carry the load I put on it. It fit the teeth perfectly. also, it arrived miraculously fast.

Awesome tool can be used with a ratchet as well as a wrench

I had to buy this as a replacement for a shorter, painted, version. It was useless. This one plugs right in over the that last inner bolt and grips strong. Whether it's been old freewheels or new, it just works. I love that it has a 1/2 inch socket for use with a torque wrench or breaker bar. Even if you don't have a torque wrench, you can use a box end or an adjustable wrench. (spanner for off continent folks, sorry Canada)
