I was very happy with it and it's also what I was looking for. But when I opened the case, it was only connected by on corner? Not sure it my lid was defective or not, but the lid still closes, and it also makes sure none of the pegs can slip out when I close it, so I can easily put it in my toolbox next time I work on a project.

Had a tough job to do at work, where the sheer pin kept breaking. Used one of these, and it hasn't broke sense. Knock on wood...

So the overall quality of what is here is good. The problem is the kit was missing the M3*8 dowel pins and the slot was filled with more M4*10. Which if a person wasn't needing the M3*8 pins, this would be fine, but that was one of the ones I needed, so I had to order more of that size specifically, which is disappointing and why I'm knocking off 3 stars.

I got these for a 3D project I was working on using M3 magnets, they don't stick at all. I tested it on different magnet's and they worked on NONE of them.

Good buy. Everything as expected.

Showed up all mixed up, not a huge problem to sort them back to the correct trays, but would order from a different supplier with better packaging in the future

The whole point of buying this product is to have an organized set of pins. The box is so poorly constricted that the pins easily shift from one bin to the next. The dividers are not permanently attached to the case.

Can't use as locating dowel pins. The OD varies substantially from piece to piece.

Pins are ok but storage case is defective. Latches do not hold case closed. Arrived from vendor/manufacturer with scotch tape over the latches to keep the lid closed. The whole idea of the latch is to securely keep the 200 plus tiny parts from falling out of the case.

We laser-cut and assemble a range of products which often need careful alignment during assembly. We bought this kit which offers a range of pin diameters and lengths to insert into holes when gluing parts, and they can then be removed and re-used. This is a nice sized kit with a useful range of sizes and good number of each at a good price. The quality is good, and the pin diameters are accurate when measured with a digital caliper. The only reason for knocking off 1 star is because the plastic tray it comes in has removable dividers which are loose and always fall out allowing the pins to get mixed up, so we'll have to throw it out and use our own tray.
