ArcEnCiel Women Backpack Canvas Rucksack Shoulder Bag

I bought this bag/backpack to use while traveling, and it was perfect! It is large enough for me to put a smaller purse inside. It was also large enough to hold my umbrella, sweater, sunglasses, camera, and a book. There are two moderately interior pockets, one of which is zipped, that worked great for keeping glasses, cell phone, etc. handy, and not at the bottom of the bag. There is also an outer pocket that was useful for things I needed quickly, such as boarding passes, lip balm, etc.. Some reviews indicated trouble with the magnetic button on the outer pocket. I had no problems, at all, and the little strap makes it cute.I love the variety of strap/handle options this provides. It comes with two, wide, web straps with sturdy, yet attractive latches. It is easy to switch it from a purse to a back pack by simply switching where it attaches. There are two, outer zipped pockets on the side. I used one of them to store the second strap when I only wanted to use one. Some reviews indicated the straps were too short to serve as a shoulder strap. I disagree. One strap worked just great for me. I usually kept it on the short side, so the bag was tucked under my arm and closer to my body, but one strap was equally functional and comfortable when fully extended to a shoulder or cross body strap. And I guess you could clasp two straps together if you wanted a really long strap, too. There is one other, loop handle at the top that is really functional. It made it handy to pick up and move around--particularly when trying to retrieve it from under airplane seats, etc.And to top it all of, it is super cute! The grayish/taupe color goes with everything and the printed pocket on the front is a nice pattern. Attractive, but not gaudy.I'm so glad I found this! I like this so much, I may buy another one, as I know purses and bags do wear out.

I bought this to replace my favorite backpack purse because it needs mending. This purse is as beautiful as I expected it and very functional for my needs. I just love it!

I love this back pack purse. I get lots of compliments on it, the material stays pretty clean easily it can fit anything and everything. I've had it for years! I've put it through some rough places too lol. I got really excited to see it come up on my buy again but I don't need another one because mine is still in great shape. I bought it like 3-4 years ago. Im thinking about buying it again in case something does ever happen to this one. I love it, it's really pretty and really me and so easy to carry and comfortable even when full. All zippers still work!

Where has this bag been all my life?! As a teacher, I'm often carrying around things to grade or other papers and struggle with bigger, brief case style purses. I've also started experiencing severe neck strain after carrying a heavy purse on one shoulder, or maybe it's from hunching over a computer from grading... Either way, I needed an option that would help to alleviate some of that pain on my neck and shoulders, carry larger papers, and also act as a functional, every day use kind of bag. I'm soooo happy with this find! The straps are nice and wide, with a secure clip to change the placement from a shoulder to a carry, to a back pack style with ease, and doesn't sacrifice the function of the bag itself. The canvas is also sturdy enough and hasn't shown major signs of wear since my use. The front pocket is nice and deep enough to store keys, a phone, pens, smaller items without falling out. The inside has a zipper pocket on the back, and a small open pocket toward the front. None of my zippers were funky, either. The one weird thing is the label sewn to the front pocket is upside down, but that is the ONLY thing "wrong" with this bag. I love it!

Very well made. Nice looking also. A bit big though, but if you need a large backpack this will be the one. I'll use mine when I travel.

If you like this style of canvas bag, it’s the one for you. You can change it into a few backpacks, various shoulder lengths for a shoulder bag, and it’s long enough to be a crossbody if you so choose. Perfect size and holds all necessities (including iPad/tablet space, chargers, and/or books).It’s just an awesome, highly sturdy and durable, multifunctional, cute bag!

From the reviews I was expecting something a little different. I really thought this would be just what I was looking for. It's taller than wide, so it makes it a bit difficult to put things in and find them. It feels like I have to dig in so far just to find my wallet. That being said, it is a really roomy bag. I have no doubt I can fit pretty much everything I need. But, I really need to get a nice large organizer to put inside so I can keep things from becoming one giant jumble. It does have one pocket on the front, but only having a small magnetic clasp I don't trust putting anything very important in there. Inside is one small zipper pocket, which is good for important things like keys. The other inside pocket, however just flops wide open. I ended up sewing some velcro on there so the pocket will stay closed. The biggest drawback that I was SOOO disappointed in with this bag is that one strap is not big enough to wear as a crossbody bag. (Unless maybe you're very petit.) I had to hook both straps together and it looks really stupid. I'm thinking of cutting one end off both straps and sewing both straps together to create one large strap. I'll use the bag because it is a nice size, but I'll still be searching for that perfect bag!
