1975 Corvette - Took about an hour to install. I tried to do the "baseball" stitch, but couldn't get it to lay correctly. Pulled it back out and went with a simple single-thread stitch. Looks good, but there are a couple puckers in it, but it works well. But, it looks a LOT better than the old vinyl one from the 70s that it was replacing. Not quite the color I was trying to match, but close enough and fits much better. Time will tell, but it feels like it's good quality material.

Bonded leather. Not full leather as the listing says.

This steering wheel cover is stated as genuine leather. I think of genuine leather as I do wood. Leather is the way it came off the cow just like wood is the way it came off the tree, for comparison. This is a split or bonded leather. You can see from the closeup there is a layer that is one color and a layer that is another color. Genuine leather does not look like this. I have worked with leather every day for almost 20 years. I know the difference between full aniline dye, semi aniline dye, protected leather and bomber jacket leather. This product is not any of these. It is a laminated or bonded leather in my opinion. If I could do so without making it show, I would trim off a piece about as wide as a toothpick and burn it to demonstrate how this product melts. Next, the listing shows it fits my 2018 Yukon Denali. It will not fit the Yukon 2016-2020 because this style of steering wheel has areas that flare out and are wider before they tuck under the airbag area. I chose this for an older 2004 Yukon XL ( which it also shows it fits ) and I think it will fit this vehicle. It has a basic steering wheel with no flared areas. When trying this on for size, on the 2004, it will not just slip on but as my husband explained, it should need to be stretched to fit so that there is no slack after being installed. I suggest first of all, not just looking at the vehicle finder tool and thinking it will fit your car, suv, or truck. Take a look at the design of the steering wheel on your particular vehicle, making sure that it does not have any flared areas. Then measure it to be certain that the circumference is 15”. If I had ordered this steering wheel cover for my 2018 Denali Xl, my rating would be 1 Star. For my husband's old 2004 Yukon XL work vehicle I will give a generous 4 Stars - rounding up from 3 Stars based on the general appearance of the item, it looks very nice.
