NOT GONNA LIE, DIDN'T THINK THIS WOULD WORK. WE KEPT THIS ON MY LITTLE ONES THUMB FOR A FEW HOURS THE FIRST DAY AND THEN FOR THE DAY (EVEN AT DAYCARE) AND SHE STOPPED SUCKING HER THUMB AFTER 2 WEEKS. EVENTUALLY SHE LEARNED HOW TO PULL IT OFF BUT YOU CAN ADJUST THE STRAPS AS TIGHT AS COMFORTABLY POSSIBLE. HER TEETH THAT WERE STARTING TO SHIFT ARE NOW STRAIGHT AND SHE HASN'T SUCKED HER THUMB EVEN THOUGH SHE NO LONGER USES THIS.

it did not last for 1hour. too loose even for a newborn to take out and the hook comes off immediately no matter how many times you put it back. This is my first time buying a product on amazon that I feel it's a complete waste of money. Had it been I did not throw away the package after opening I would have returned it. Please, believe this review and other similar ones, DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

When my toddler tries to take it off (as any toddler will) the metal clasp pushes into her hand. I like care thumb a lot better. It's all silicone except the plastic clasp that doesn't come into contact with herskin ever.

My daughter is 14 months old and has been sucking her thumb since she was in the womb. I did not want it to become a problem later on in her life and decided I needed to stop it sooner then later. I did a lot of research I almost bought a thumb Guard that was $150 but couldn’t bring my self to spend that money on something that may not work. I came across this so I said why not give it a shot needless to say I am Soooo happy I did!! I put it on my daughter as soon as I got it and only took it off for her to eat and bath. At first she wasn’t a fan of it and figured out how to get it off but I kept correcting her and putting it back on then she just stoped caring and left it alone she actually would want it back on when I took it off. Anyways I had it on her non stop for 5 days and decided to take it off and see what happens and she no longer sucks her thumb. It has been 3 weeks now. So if you are looking to stop the habit this is it!!

Did not fit on size. was really tight and can easily be taken off. bulky. would be best for a littler child who cant undo things yet.
