Can this be used on plastic to gold plate without using copper first?

That is what I use it for .... copper plating plastic that I generate on a 3D printer. If you go out to Caswell Plating ... you can see what is needed to plate your surface coating you desire. I think if I remember you could plate gold over the nickel coating

Will this stay transparent if sprayed in a thin enough coating?

No and the conductivity will be insignificant

How much does it increase the weight of wires?

Couldnt give to a definitive answer b cause it would depend on how much you coat it. You only need to give a even coating which doesn’t increase the weight much at all, and that’s all you really need to create surface conductivity. If on the other hand you just keep building coat after coat you could get an increase of overall weight ... sure you get the idea. You only need a light coat or two. Later.

It will but if you forge, shape, bend it after it is applied you loose the coating. Also the conductive of the paint is only so good, at higher amps and volts you will have issues.
