GREAT STUFF! Pretty comparable to my Art of shaving razor. This razor has been holding up pretty well. The stand is heavy and does a great job. I use different blades but the ASTRAs that came with it are pretty solid and leaves a clean shave.

Aluminum is not durable. And it’s cheap. This thing has a huge markup. You can get a number of aluminum razors from Doug Smythe at Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements for less money, and he marks them up a tad much too.Google “Razorock Game Changer.” For $2-3 more you get an heirloom quality razor from an established razor maker. It is machined from billets of marine grade stainless, just like the $400 Wolfman razor, and the moment you open the packaging you know you got a precision tool.As your DE technique improves, you will no doubt want the optional .84 medium-aggression base plate to complement the mild base plate that comes in the package.$50 can buy you a whole lot of razor. It will buy you a Rockwell 6c with all 6 baseplate adjustments included. It will get you any number of Maggard’s excellent $20 offerings plus a good Yaqi synthetic brush and a tub of Razorock P.160 shaving soap.There are hundreds of ways to spend this $50 that will get you a better shave, with equipment that you will enjoy longer and that will either cost you less or give you way more. I’m partial to the Game Changer myself but the Rockwell 6c is the best “first razor” I can think of because of its patented included swappable plates, which give you 6 razors for one buy, and let you try them and choose what works best.This guy is hawking cheap goods for a premium price. Maggard’s or Italian Barber (Razorock) will do you right.

Just what I was looking for. Well made and sturdy, nice weight and balance. I have used both expensive and inexpensive butterfly razors and they did not last. They were either cheaply made and fell apart or metal would corrode and seize up. Saw the Raven 3 piece and decided to give it a shot, glad that I did. Just taking it out of the box I could tell it was well designed and quality made. I have been using it for a week now and can tell it will be the last razor I will have to buy, (unless it gets stolen, my wife tried it also and fell in love with it. She has never used a safety razor but now wants one of her own.) Great job Mike The Mason.

I'm really picky when it comes to razors and have stuck with the same one for years. I tried out a couple of razors on and off Amazon that just felt cheap. This razor is durable, does its job really well, and looks really cool inside of the heavy-duty stand it comes with. Fast shipping, great product, I'd buy again without a doubt. A+!

What a quality product! It doesn't just look amazing, it feels amazing.. The weight in your hand is just incredible and very comforting. You know this will last a long time. Not to mention the packaging, haha. These guys are funny. Order one and see for yourself!

Cool razor! I like the color. I use feather blades with it and I get a really close shave. Not a fan of Astras. Needed to be a little careful as this razor is a bit aggressive. All in all, A+ shave. Recommend.

This razor gives the closest shave ever. The blades are extremely sharp and do last a long time. This razor reminds me of the double edge razor my dad used his entire life. He never tried anything else and neither will I.

Pleasantly surprised by this razor. It has a nice weight to it. The stand works very well and is quite heavy. Very clever packaging. I'm not a fan of the blades in this kit. I will use my own. Other than that, overall a great kit. I give this product an A-.
