I purchased this to make jar meals for xmas presents this winter for my relatives up north . I first tested the meats with freeze dried vegetables and the meals came out fine and I have a picky family. This is perfect for hurricanes, camping and snowed in winter storms.

Used these different freeze dried meats to make my own emergency meals that I sealed in Mylar bags with oxygen absorbers. Made my own chili, beef stroganoff, and chicken Alfredo

The variety dehydrated meat bucket arrived on time/intact. The chicken and beef is a great prepper addition. Adding the meet to soups and other dishes enhances the protein value. The food will last for years. However once opened you may want to put in smaller one use packages and seal.
