Perfect for running
I brought these open ear earbuds because I was looking for some inexpensive earbuds just for running. I mainly wanted earbuds that had decent audio quality, physical buttons, a good IP rating and would not fall off while running or working out. I currently own apple airpods which I have been using to run but I hate them because they either fall out or I have to keep pushing them in my ear while running. There are many options for running headphones. I looked at all the big name brands like Bose, Sony, Shokz, etc as well as open ear, in ear and bone conduction. Price First, I could not justify spending over $200 for headphones that I would only wear when I run. I got these for less than $50 with a coupon. I felt this was a great price point. I also understand at this price point I would sacrifice certain audio quality which was fine for me because when I run outside I need to also be able to hear my surroundings and not how good my music sounds. When I’m not running and want better audio quality then I could always switch back to my AirPods or my Sony over the ear headphones. Fit/Design When looking at all my options I didn’t want anything going around the back of my head. I also didn’t want anything in-ear like my AirPods. So I decided to go for an open ear clip on design. This design was important because I mainly run outside and need to hear my surroundings. I almost went with the bone conduction style but I felt like I heard too much of my surroundings and not my music. I felt like these open ear were a good compromise. The Baseus earphones are really comfortable. Once they are on they feel very secure. After wearing them for 2 hrs while running they don’t hurt. They are also not too heavy for me. Connectivity These earbuds have Bluetooth 6.0 technology. So far I have not had any issues with these connecting to my iPhone 14. I also haven’t had any issues with them connecting to my Garmin Fenix 7 watch. I’ve worn these while running with my phone as well as only having my audio go through my Garmin watch. No issues. Physical buttons I wanted some earbuds with physical buttons because sometimes when I’m running I’ve found that touch buttons can be hit or miss. So I liked the Baseus earbuds because they have a physical buttons that I can customize. IP rating These are rated IP67. Which means I don’t have to worry any dust or heavy sweat messing these up. I sweat a ton when I run so having a good IP rating was important. Battery The manual says these offer 9 hrs of playtime and a total of 40 hrs with the case. I’ve worn these for two weeks running 4 days a week for a minimum of 1.5 hr per run and I have not had to charge the case yet. So far so good. Overall, these are some very comfortable open ear headphones for runners who want to hear their surroundings, have pretty decent audio quality and not break the bank!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great open-ear earbuds!
These earbuds are super comfortable and feel almost weightless. I love the open-ear design — I can still hear what’s happening around me while getting clear, punchy sound. The bass is surprisingly good for this style, and the calls sound very clear. Battery life is solid and they’re great for workouts. Definitely worth it!

Good first experience with open ear headphones. Battery life should be better.
These are my first pair of open ear type headphones so I don't have experience to reference. First, as another person mentioned, the font size in the manual is so small!!! I had to use a magnifying glass. But I also found it online so that was very helpful. Next, I have had a few times where they didn't connect but that was easily resolved by going into the phone and manually connecting. I had once where I could hear the music fine but the control buttons on the earphones wouldn't do anything. Had to disconnect, put the earphones back in the case and start over. That did it. I'm not an audiophile but to me these sound good in a quiet room. Certainly, real audiophiles wouldn't choose this type of headphone anyway. The app can help personalize them but I only used it a couple of times. Just using as is seems to be good enough. More important than sound quality is the volume because if you can't hear them, then it doesn't matter if the sound quality is good or not. When I'm in a louder environment like walking down the street with traffic, max volume isn't enough when worn as usual. In those cases I will move one or both lower so that it/they are firing straight into my ear(s). Even then they are not always loud enough but probably fix the issue 95% of the time when I lower the earphones. Unfortunately, that eliminates the purpose of open ear type of earphones. No way to hear what's going on around me if I have to use max volume and lower the earphones. Perhaps that's the same with all of this style of product. I will note that these are so extremely comfortable. I often forget that I have them on. So much that sometimes when I have removed them, I forget and reach up to my ears to take them off. Maybe my ears are the perfect size? I know some others have complained but I couldn't ask for any better fit. Phone call quality: I am very satisfied with the clarity of phone calls, both in me hearing the other person and that person hearing me. So far, couldn't ask for more. Finally, the battery life. I haven't ever worn them long enough to go from a full charge to empty in one use. I always put them back into the charging case before that point. But I have used then and had them go dead. I was surprised that the fully charged case (which I assume has also charged the earphones while on the charger) does not last longer. For this style I assume the case shape allows for a larger battery than my old earphones and the ear pieces themselves should have a larger battery than those other earphones. So, overall these should provide longer usage life than my others which are maybe 8 years old so the batteries should not be in tip top shape. Therefore, I'm disappointed. I'm wondering if they will last an entire trip where say I have them on for maybe 8 hours. I really want to give these a 3.5 but 4 is more appropriate than 3.

Earbuds always hurt my ears… but these don’t!
I have tiny, misshapen ears. Every pair of headphones or buds I’ve ever used hurts my ears. Padded noise cancelling headphones, AirPods, skull candy, the earphones without the gummy tips, literally everything hurts and makes them ache sooo much I actually wince when I’m done using them. I took a chance on these because I’ve never tried this style. I liked that they didn’t sit deep in your ear with all the wax, and others reported / they’re designed for working out so they stay where they need to stay on your ears. Best chance I ever took. I can finally wear them for extended periods of time and tbh there is a pin point spot that aches just a little bit and only if I’ve worn them for over 1-2 hours. It also might be user error or my destiny with the tiny misshapen ears not really allowing anything to touch them without hurting. But it’s such a minimal ache that I dub these painless. It doesn’t even ache long whereas other buds leave a fierce ache for hours after I’ve removed them. So these are freaking incredible style wise. Audio was an adjustment. Going from gummy tips sitting deep in your ears - those felt louder compared to this which was basically the equivalent of playing music from your phone rather than a speaker (speaker being the gummy tips). They do def get loud but won’t compare sound level wise to something so snug inside your ear. I actually like that much more. I don’t worry about not being able to hear what’s going on around me or how loud I’m being when I wear them because of that. But they won’t drown out noise in the same way so if that’s a feature you like, be warned. They come with their own control app which lets you control eq like hi-fi, bass boosted, acoustic, treble boosted, etc. it’s not a massive difference imo but I do like that to enhance the sound quality I can turn on rock or bass boosted and the lines of audio I’m seeking are audible to me more than before. The audio quality itself isn’t anything special. It’s not tinny or low quality by any means but coming from noise cancellation air pods sitting in my ear canal to these sitting in the shell of my ear, it’s definitely different and less sound overall. Losing the noise cancellation means the stream of audio isn’t singled out so much. But personally, again, I really like these earbuds. The sound is what I need out of a pair and the fit, style, and lack of pain makes me HIGHLY recommend them. It also comes with stickers to put on the case and they’re waterproof. One other AWESOME thing is that if you’ve paired them with say your computer and your phone, it auto connects to whichever is playing audio first but if you’ve paired walk away from the computer and go to the bathroom, start using your phone and playing audio, they auto connect seamlessly and reconnect seamlessly to the computer when you go back to it. No disconnecting so you can reconnect. Just change which device is putting out audio and it automatically switches. They’re freaking incredible. I even got my mom to buy a pair because I like them so much and for a fraction of how much AirPods cost. My AirPods started this awful buzzing like zzzt in my ear, became tinny, and the gummies kept falling off. They don’t hold up well. You can’t accidentally wash them. I don’t know how well these will hold up long term but I’m very very very hopeful based off of an already incredible and exceptional user experience.

Best earbuds of this style
I really like these earbuds. I tried other earbuds in bestbuy, and decided I'd rather not waste hundreds of dollars on a wireless earbud set. I am a huge fan of brands that offer their customers high quality items without having a huge price tag, and I respect these brands as long as they keep pumping out high quality items. These earbuds are extremely loud, the sound is 10/10, it feels like I'm listening out of a high quality stereo speaker phone that is in my ear. I love that these DO NOT have touch control, because it makes it easier to use during rain or shower, which I did do today. I wore these in the shower and the sound remained 10/10, something that no other earbud I ever owned was able to achieve. No muffled sound, no loss in quality, absolutely amazing in water. Also, the bass is pretty useless in this, but it doesnt matter too much because the sound quality makes up for it 100 percent. The battery life is good, I've been wearing them all day and they have a very premium build quality. The only thing I prefer, is more tighter or smaller rings, also I am unsure on how long the rubber parts will last. Other than these two worries, this is a 10/10 device and I am recommending them to everyone, and the app is so intuitive.

These have some issues, but not bad for the price.
Ok this is the third time I've rewritten this review and I can't say I'm thrilled with this product but I'm not insanely disappointed either. They are comfortable and they stay in place. The sound quality isn't horrible for the price. My only gripes are 1) They don't sense when they are on or off the ear so the music doesn't pause on its own, 2) They do not work when submerged underwater, even when stated that they are IP67 Waterproof rated. This rating states "An IP67 rating means a device is both dust-tight and waterproof, specifically tested for submersion in water up to 1 meter deep for 30 minutes." These immediately stop working when submerged even slightly. 3) They take a while to get settled into. It takes a couple minutes of maneuvering around to get them to clear, consistent sound quality. All of that said, I am keeping these. They make great by the pool or beach headphones. You can still be aware of your surroundings, they stay on during movement, and they can get wet (if it happens to start raining or you are sweaty). They are worth the cost but when I look for an upgrade, I'll be considering the JVC Nearphones for the extra $50.

Love the new earbuds!
Really comfy! With the clip-on design and soft silicone padding, I hardly notice I’m wearing them, even on long runs. The sound is solid for open-ear earbuds: midrange and vocals feel clear, though there’s no earth-shattering bass. For running, they’re actually great, super lightweight, stay in place, and let you hear your surroundings, which is perfect for safety. The IP67 rating also gives me confidence when I sweat or run in light rain. Bottom line: Highly recommended if comfort and awareness are your priorities. Not for bass lovers, but for running or day-long wear, these are a winner.

Impressive Sound, Comfort, and Ease of Use
Was looking for earbuds that felt secure on my ears while I moved around, something I found lacking in the more traditional design. These seemed like a good-quality product at a reasonable price and I'm happy to report that I wasn't disappointed. Setup took less than a minute, and the battery's been impressive, have only charged the case once since I got it last Friday. The buds themselves are very comfortable on the ear. I've worn them sitting at my desk, walking around, and laying on my back and side while also wearing my CPAP mask. They stayed put every time. The sound quality is really impressive, particularly the bass. One thing I did notice was that sometimes a song will start playing on one bud before being picked up by the other one. Thought that was a little weird, but that might've been caused by my phone or the app I was streaming from at the time. I haven't made many calls with the headphones yet but I did demo the mic for a friend via a Whatsapp message. Listening back, both she and I found it to be a bit lacking in clarity, but that might also have been an issue with my connection. Overall, I like these earbuds a lot and look forward to our travels together.
