Actually a background image from a painting by Hieronymus Bosch, I bought it as a joke because I told my girlfriend she needed a fish on her wall. I gave it to her and she Loved it! So it hangs in her living room. A small but very cool bit of Art.

This is a nice quality, smallish, landscape picture. The colors of the overhanging trees, along with the same trees reflecting off the pond’s surface, make the entire picture much darker than expected. I will need to hang this one in a more well lit space than planned.

I wasn't sure what I would get when ordering this, but was very happy with what I received! It was very very true to the picture. The canvas print elevates it just enough from a regular paper print, especially for me who wants to be able to change out art work in my home, but cannot buy "real" art work every season. I am slowly working my way up with buying originals to slowly faze out prints, however that will take time! The frame was made of some sort veneer/decal over a light material, but honestly unless you touch it looks like wood.. the print itself looks like a painting from afar and it not too "grainy" when you see it up close. The surface of the canvas has a matt finish which I find adds to the realistic look. Well worth what I paid and a great winter addition to have in my seasonal decor!
