Kind of dulls the magnet strength. It’s a good size though and fits perfectly. It’s a huge help with the functionality of the Sk-05 and the light quality of the side light allows it to be used as a diffuser from your belt.

Before you buy this assuming it's a holster, re-read the product title and description. It's a protective cover for the body of the light. Now, as a protective sheath, it works pretty well. I would have liked for it to cover more of the flashlight than it does, but anything is better than nothing. It is well made, fits pretty tightly and holds on strong, and seems like it can take a beating, but I'm not going to be the one to find out.

The holster is very well constructed but has more cons than pros in my opinion. Pros: Flashlight is somewhat protected from damage. The unit is well constructed for the price. The holster does soften the side light to make it much more aesthetically pleasing. Cons: The steel plate at the bottom of the unit does not really help with retention and stops the magnets from being used entirely. The holster is a bit too tight of a fit. It takes a significant pull to remove which tends to unclip the whole unit from your belt/pocket. Does not come with it's own clip and as many have mentioned, the pocket clip that comes with the unit does not work at all on even the thinnest belts. The light and holster both come off. Also, any time you need tp use the light without the holster, the clip has to be transfered. The light mounts upside down in the holster, making the lenses more likely to be damaged or temporarily blind you if accidentally activated.

This is a great flashlight Holster with a couple of simple modifications. First of all I rubbed some wax inside to make the flashlight easier to slide in and out. I then put a Scol 2.5in heavy-duty rubber band around the Holster. Now when I put the clip on my belt I just slip the Scol rubber band over the end of the clip. This keeps the Holster from pulling off of the belt when I want to use the flashlight. The Holster will not slide off without removal of the band. This is a very well made Holster. It would be perfect if they included the rubber band.

So, the clip the SK05 comes with? Great! And its the same clip you install on this holster.. The problem is that the holster retains the flashlight more than the clip can hold on your belt, so any time you try to unholster the light, the entire holster comes with it, off your belt, and you have to two-hand them apart. What in the world is the point? I guess there's some silver lining in the fact its got GREAT retention, but if it entirely negates the operation of the product, its no good... EDIT: I didnt feel like sending it back so I made some modifications (that I shouldn't have had to) to make this work. Firstly, I sanded the contact portions of the holster to make a better fit. This particular plastic is very sticky, so I had to add some oil to the inside of the holster, just enough that the tackiness went away and the light didnt stick like glue once it was holstered. After that, I couldn't find a better way to do this but I added a zip tie that goes around the holster and can slide over the clip, preventing the clip from opening when the light is pulled so it remains on the belt. Way to much work to make this unit work as it should so Im only bumping it up to 2 stars, but you can make it palatable.

Love the holster for my sk-05 light and should have ordered this when I bought my light but found it on Amazon!! Fits like a glove and the clip that came with the light screws right into the holster!!

Great fit and function, but not necessarily needed, it doesn't really make the light anymore accessible, it's just a holster. The design, fit, function and usefulness is spot on. Just not necessary to carry this light with.

Esta bonita y al ser semi transparente se ve los leds laterales, sin embargo esta mal diseñada para el uso con el clip pues se cae muy facilmente y se daña la lampara no la recomiendo
